I just wanted to share my thoughts on my Valorant journey so far. I started playing 5 months ago and I just got level 50. Just make sure I'm playing on EU servers. Before the recent episode reset, I managed to reach Bronze 1. After the placement matches, the system placed me into Iron 1. Honestly, it doesn't bother me at all. My main goal isn't to chase a specific rank, but to enjoy the game casually and focus on improving my own gameplay day by day.✨

Your own improvement just happens naturally without you even noticing it. The low ranks can be pretty chaotic right now with all the team diffs and smurfs, but I'm just taking it slow and learning from every match. ✨

Are there any other casual players here who focus more on personal improvement than the actual rank? I'd love to hear your experiences! 🤗🐉

I need a new gaming PC or I've been thinking about a laptop. I worry with the laptop I do or something game long and I'm not sure if they overheat? I've only ever had desk tops I've gotten my last from Best buy and I did like it.

For my graduation celebration my dad said he’d be getting me a MacBook, which I am extremely happy about ofc, but I’m not very good on knowing which computer would be better to use for gaming especially if I own multiple games, so would a MacBook be a better option to get or instead the neo laptop? And here is my review of all the visual novels I know:

• Romance Club. I read Romance Club back when it was just Sails in the Fog. The game has come a long way since then, and unfortunately, it's been a downward way. Constant scandals with the authors, a very toxic fandom, and the administration's refusal to address internal conflicts. Now we've reached the point, where Romance Club has become a low quality game that prioritizes quantity over quality. A huge, aggressive, toxic fandom has become the foundation for the entire visual novel fandom in Russia. And unless the MC looks like a doll, and all the favorites aren't white Europeans of the two beloved types, then such a game is doomed to die, because the fandom has refused to read it. Money was squeezed out of everything, and AI became the basis for art, often significantly lowering its quality. The administration only does what benefits them, they pretend to listen Russian and English fandoms, but all they need is discussions and money. All the new characters look the same face, the stories are of very questionable content, and always feature the same LIs face and personality. My favorite authors Veronica, Yim and Amy, still maintain good quality stories. Also, the game is still very accessible and many free events. And if you know the secret to farming diamonds by exchanging cups for 4 extra diamonds with the autoclicker, then saving up and playing is very simple. But I think that the Romance Club is not developing, they really need money and they make all the wrong decisions to get as much as possible with minimal costs. I quit Romance Club because I was fed up with the Russian fandom's insane hatred of the English fandom, and the constant covering up of the game's poor quality. Now they've released a separate app for Russia, which excludes stories from all foreign authors, and contains no stories that even mention LGBT. Anything that couldn't be removed has been heavily edited. Relationships with women LI are now only by narrative.

• League of Dreamers. The stories in the League are more complex than in the Romance Club. There are always many choices that greatly influence the story, and the stories themselves are more nonlinear, which is why, starting from the second season, a lot of deaths and drama could occur. Overall, the stories are very dramatic, LoD lack any casual or funny stories. But the League is just as problematic as the Romance Club. The Ru fandom is smaller than the RC, but very racist. They hate all non white LIs and pride themselves on being more upstanding than the "rotten Western Romance Club." Stories not have non white European favorites, and because of the anti LGBT law there are no women LI at all. The quality of new stories has dropped dramatically, and the authors themselves are very toxic and have gathered toxic fandoms around themselves that idealize them. I left for the same reason as I left the Romance Club - I was tired of the constant hatred and toxicity, and justifications for the low quality of stories by idealizing the authors.

• Seven Heart Stories. They are experimenters. Although their stories are linear, they add new mechanics to each story, making it unique. The quality of their stories is always decent or very good quality. If players don't like a story at all, ShS remove it and remaster it. While this isn't always fair, Queen of Ash and old Mission Fortune were very good. Save currency is very easy due to the fast cooldown of cups and advertising. They added an event, similar to the Romance Club, and you can read stories without spending diamonds, although the event is rare. The RU fandom is minimally toxic, and the game itself hasn't been involved in any scandals. Among the issues that could be considered: The new stories are very AI, as evidenced by the deterioration in clothing quality and the change from their unique anime-like art style to photorealism AI. They also always sold skins for LI, which are fanservice and provide new scenes. Due to the new anti LGBT law, women won't receive new skins and are receiving much less attention. Due to the complexity of the mechanics, the stories have many bugs. They also have their own Heaven Secret multiverse. All stories are set in the same universe with the Deadly Biome, which creates the strange twist, that all stories will eventually lead to a zombie apocalypse that no superpower can stop. Most LI is white Europeans, but ChC is cautiously experimenting with introducing different archetypes into each story. The official community is very aggressive towards criticism and removes any dissatisfied users. I also stopped reading them because they excite my FOMO too much.

• History of Another World. They're practically dead. They were at a disadvantage when very few people knew about them, with only one flagship story "Chimera." But readers kept leaving, so the developers made the very bad decision, turning all their stories into porn. They also started making fanfiction about popular series like Arcane, H2O, and Charmed. But now all the stories are literally hardcore fetish porn, with kinky scenes of cunnilingus and incest. The fandom was small and toxic before, but now it's a very small group of people who enjoy fetish porn stories.

• Lagerta. Initially, it was "our response to the Romance Club with CIS values." But as soon as the game received Russian government support, everything very changed. The administration became aggressively anti LGBT. Any hint of romance with a woman was removed, MC was made homophobic, aggressively opposed to anything "non-traditional." Every new story is heavily pornographic, or it's pornographic parodies of things that are hyped up in Russia. After they created the game "Smuta Call of the Heart," a spinoff of a failed game funded by the Russian government, and committed the vile act of adding real game reporters who were against the game "Smuta" and killing them. I was so shocked by this abomination so I don’t want to know Lagerta anymore. They also added these reporters to their other stories and ridiculed them in horrific ways. Ru fandom is completely racist. The irony is that the game lost government funding due to the ratings decline, and now they're creating stories in settings more appealing to Europeans. But the game is completely corrupt, and I don't want to support them. Also, under the new Russian information security law, Lagerta is now required to leak all user data to the government.

• Senses. A very small, old app with average-quality stories. The story quality varies wildly, from banal kink porn for cash grabbing, to truly amazing stories.

• Flames. They're like Senses, but even smaller. They're incredibly fast to accumulate, but unfortunately, updates are rare.

• Your Storyland. Is a game with strictly mediocre stories that always follows the same rule: Good first season, all the rest are absolutely terrible. On the plus side, the stories are truly very varied genres and styles, you won't find anything like this anywhere else. On the minus side, the AI's drawing quality is terrible.

• Storapy. Same as Storyland, but with complex and interesting mechanics.

• Theater of senses. Same as Storyland, but with better art quality.

• Love Legend. It was Russia's answer to Choices. Initially, the quality of the stories was good, but because almost no one knew about the game, the game quickly declined. Adding male MCs to every story and the game's events didn't help. The game sold out to China, and now all new stories are AI generated.

• Cyberstory. Initially, they positioned themselves as stories only in sci-fi settings, but they couldn't keep up the standard. All their stories are below average quality and very much an acquired taste. Despite all this, the game is still going strong and receiving graphical updates, with AI enhanced old sprites. It looks good. But I don't think they'll last long due to the very infrequent updates and the lack of new stories and people in the fandom.

• Lovel. I don't know what they're hoping for. The stories are very low quality, the art is terrible, and almost all the clothes cost real money. But they're still alive and releasing new stories and updates.

============================================================== Novels, Drwamland, Series, Real Love, Forbidden Fruit, Forbidden Stories, Storzy. Some were consumed by greed, others by low quality. If you see them - they're dead. Forbidden Stories and Real Love suddenly came back to life, but after the developers returned, they disappeared again after the first update.

🌟 New stars.

• Midnight Dreamers. Their debut was very bright, they were very positive, and their stories were of very good quality. Now, however, they've really slipped. The quality of the new seasons has dropped significantly. At first, they create high-quality arts, but now both the art and the clothing look very AI, In some stories AI phrases are noticeable in the text. Updates have become less frequent, and there are very few episodes. Women LI are very interesting and different.

• Only You. They appeared recently. The art quality is reminiscent of the old League of Dreamers art style. However, due to the very rare updates, the stories are heavily donated, and they lean more toward interactions with favorites than plot. There is also a problem with the MC's drawing, which makes them all look too doll-like, especially those with European appearance. There are no women LI.

• Spectrum of souls. Even more recent newcomers. Their first story in a Slavic setting is amazing, with vibrant characters and lots of Russian jokes, but I was disappointed that all LI are too young and for the Romance Club audience. The other two stories are of much lower quality, which me disappointing. And also the characters often have creapy emotions. But there are mature male LI characters there. There are no women LI either.

• Residence of Love. Just appeared recently. Unfortunately, the quality of the stories is low and they're not interesting to read.

Nocturne, Romansi, Sun&Moon, Love Poison, Abode of Fantasy (remake), Guardians of Dreams. Nocturne and Romansi are supposed to be released this summer, but all their art is GPT and Geminy, so I'm skeptical about them.
