But I think I could maybe get the “rubicon primaris” in the same match
Wich is a best option
Enjoy the primaris as a great buff to my army or do the rubicon primaris only using primaris
(And I guess the redemptor dreadnought and the storm speeder thunderstrike can be used for this achievement to)

I am a trainee psychologist at University College London (UCL) carrying out some research on how playing TTRPGs with grimdark narratives relates to coping and mental wellbeing. There's really interesting research out there covering movies and other TTRPGs, but very little on how playing grimdark TTRPGs may relate to players wellbeing.
I'm really interested to understand this better and I'd love to hear directly from the people who play! As a thank you for taking part in the interview, you'll receive a £10 voucher.
What's involved:
- A short Qualtrics survey collecting some background information about engagement with grimdark TTRPGs and two brief wellbeing questionnaires. This is to help find a diverse sample of gamers to take part, but conclusions will not be drawn from the info collected from this survey alone.
- A 45-60 minute interview via Microsoft Teams at a time that suits you - we will chat everything grimdark TTRPGs and how this relates to your wellbeing. It'll be a semi-structured interview, so I'll have some questions I'd like to ask but there's plenty of time to talk about what's important to you!
Who can take part?
- Anyone aged 18+ who plays grimdark TTRP games
- Resides in the UK or Germany

I am a new player to the tyranids Warhammer 40k does anyone have some tips
The achievement just says "win a solo game on ultra hard difficulty or higher" and the guides say it is "self explanatory". First I just set the impossible difficulty took many bots in my team and set only one enemy. I won and it didn't work so I thought maybe "solo" means not "not in multiplayer" but "without teams" too, so I made a 1 vs 1 game, won it and still got nothing. I won a solo game on ultra hard difficulty or higher, literally did it, word by word and nothing. Why? Maybe for 1 vs 1 you necessarily must play on a tiny map, or your level must be normal and only the enemy is impossible, or you are prohibited to start with all the technologies known from the start but the achievement's description says nothing about it
Whenever I play an Imperium faction for example I feel like I want to put the other Imperium factions on my same time. Am I going against how the game is meant to be played by doing this? I'm still a new player.
So the tiny map is really small (who would have guessed) but is there a big difference between medium and large or large and huge? Is the recommended amount of players a big factor in choosing how large of a map to use?
in all fairnesss, if the guy was playing Vs a real player i would understand, but really? loosing against Space mariene AI? and as the guard no less? and an avid guard player myself, its very easy to chew through SM AI with guard simply due to the fact you can produce 12-16 units to their 4 (not including heros).
and they stated they already defeated multiple other factions too, but lost to the space marienes? at best they are a mop-up unsupported.
and after that, they don't just blame the game, but a single, specific unit? when youre able to produce 4 thunderbolts a turn, you have no excuse for struggling against Flyers.
do any of you all agree? or are space marines actually considered too strong?
My usual tactic is to start with aeldari
Loss my army to the first grey group that finds me because every single unit is useless before banshee and dies to a strong wind.
Be afk for 20-30 rounds to have banshees and start playing the game.
Now this is my second game I get space marine ai right at my side which has level 3-4 units with 2-3 range and oneshoting or two shoting every single unit from range I have and in my last game i had to be afk on my base for 53 round before i had the warriors to go out i destroyed a tower and one single unit and my whole army I was trying to save and do some comeback with got annihilated in two round and I just rage quited... This units are literally useless and Astra Militarum at least gets 3 useless unit to start with
Its a really sweet game, but this is ridiculous.
To be clear I am talking about the complete edition bundle as a whole (as it says in the title and the image), I have the base game. I have checked during sales, its just always still been expensive - I don't know if I've seen the lowest it goes and its just not that low, or does it actually hit somewhere reasonable?
I was gifted the game plus all DLCs for my birthday recently during the steam summer sale.
I love 40k and so this was a nice gift.
Anyhow, I'm wanting to get into the game but with so many factions to pick from, I'm wondering what's a good starter faction to learn the game on?
My personal favorite faction lore wise is Imperial Guard, but I heard they are not a good starter faction.
Hey, I’ve been playing gladius with my friend group for the past few weeks, and it has been a lot of fun. However, the more we play, the more we notice one thing: the Drukhari Tantalus seems to have no real counter or effective way of dealing with it.
We all play different factions so we initialy thought that our friend who plays Drukhari might simply have a much better economy, or that we were missing something. However, most units with a similar value or way more seem to do almost nothing against it or just equal.
The only units that have performed reasonably well, such as the Scythed Hierodule or the Obelisk, only deal about as much damage to the Tantalus as it deals back to them(or a pit more), even though they cost more.Are we missing something? I understand that the Tantalus costs 80 ore, so it should be strong, but shouldn’t the more expensive units still perform better against it?Is the Tantalus overpowered, or is there a specific counter or strategy we are overlooking? Please let me know.
