If I had interest in buying the G29 Gen 5 it would be to complete having every Glock 10mm pistol and the G29 would have to be the EDC of the 3... It also might start me on the path to wanting to collect more compact size pistols as I like the Glock 29 and Glock 27 .

Hey I moved back to Cali from Idaho recently with my incomplete G43 receiver and want to finish it, purchasing the slide. Thinking full upper for now. So with the new law going into effect, I don’t know how im going to purchase one. As ive been looking and turned down on ebay as also said will NOT ship to california. Not quite sure if this applies to slide or other parts being this gun model is not on CA roster…. but regardless or not would have to go to FFL or can ship directly to home? How im going to get what i need, i dont know… Much help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

As the title said, my G19.5 slide will not go forward after a shoot.

I was at the range last Saturday and I noticed my slide will not go forward after a shot, stayed at slide stop position. I have to rack and release and continue shooting. It happened 3 times Saturday using Ammo Inc, 124 gr TMC, shot about 237 rounds.
It happened yesterday again with only 1 time, slide will not go forward after a shot, stayed at slide stop position. I have to rack and release and continue shooting. I was using Speer 124 gr TMJ, shot about 130 rounds.

Background on my G19.5. It was purchased April 2025, all original parts, added EPS Carry green dot, TLR 7x, Kiral low profile reduced angle backstrap, SLR magwell EDC. Hockey tape on the handle. The G19.5 shot about 4100 rounds since 2025. It is well maintained, field strip after each range session.

The only thing I can think is my thumb is pushing the slide stop up or recoil spring is due for a change?
