About the duping situation…
Important warning about expensive brainrot trades
I just wanted to share this because I think some people may have a false sense of security regarding expensive brainrot trades.
From what I understand, this type of duplication currently appears to be done through private Discord servers/tools and is not something that can be done through normal console gameplay (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, etc.).
Also, leveling a brainrot does NOT necessarily make it safe or prove it’s legit.
Why?
Because if someone can duplicate an item before trading it, they can also potentially duplicate it before leveling or again after leveling. So the “just level it up to check” method unfortunately does not fully solve the problem.
For expensive trades, I would personally recommend:
- Only trading with people you genuinely trust
- Being extra careful with PC trades for very high-value items
- Using a trusted middleman whenever possible
- Avoiding risky high-value trades unless you fully trust the person
Sadly, until there’s a proper verification system or fix, there may not be a 100% reliable way to confirm if an expensive brainrot is duplicated.
