I have a MK7.5 Golf R and looking for the best wireless Apple CarPlay device. Online research is pointing me to the AAWireless TWO+ but wanted to know if anyone had any first hand experiences to share with performance and stability?
I am convinced Alberta has got to have the most Rs. I am pretty much seeing at least 2-3 every time I go out and drive. It’s funny when people say the Golf R is a rare car and they never see them on the road, yet here it’s like regular traffic. Are they really just that much cheaper in Canada ?
Is the performance pack worth it? What's the deal with 18" Vs 19" wheels? Any must haves on options? Would welcome the help, want to be part of the club! GTI Mk8 owner currently!

Im in my 20s. I've been interested in the golf r for awhile now. I know i could afford it, plus rent and everything but the budget would be tight. I would like your guy's opinion if you think its worth it or not. Im fine paying for a car and having no other life for a year.

All the MK8 people not happy when the MK7 people get something special, apparently...
Last week I noticed these tiny black/brown spots all over the paint, which turned out to be artillery fungus. I had never heard of it before, no idea when or where it happened, but the entire car was covered.
The 2nd and 3rd photos show the fungus spores embedded in the paint. It was hard to capture in photos. It’s apparently a pain in the ass to remove.
Ultimately decided to just have it ceramic coated since all the prep work was being done anyway with removing the spores. 10/10 don’t recommend.
