The BH60-EV is powered by a high-performance

Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) integrated with a rugged gearbox and a 1,000 kWh high-voltage lithium-ion battery

pack, delivering the power and torque required for demanding heavy-duty applications.

High Payload & Gradeability:

The vehicle delivers high tractive effort and instant torque, enabling efficient operation on

gradients. It offers a payload capacity of 54,500 kg with a rock body and a volumetric body

capacity of 36.4 cubic metres.

Efficiency & Productivity:

Engineered to reduce dependence on conventional fuel, the electric platform is designed to

deliver improved energy efficiency, a high power-to-weight ratio, strong acceleration and

gradeability, while supporting lower operating costs.

Safety & Operator Comfort:

The spacious, ergonomically designed cabin incorporates a Roll-Over Protective Structure

(ROPS), emergency steering and sealed oil-cooled disc brakes, supporting enhanced safety,

reliability and operator comfort in demanding operating conditions.

The BH60-EV builds on BEML’s growing electric vehicle portfolio and follows the launch of its

35-ton Electric Dump Truck on 10 April 2026. With the BH60-EV, BEML continues to expand

its portfolio of advanced electric and sustainable equipment, strengthening its capabilities in the

design and manufacture of next-generation heavy-duty machinery for India and global markets.
