I noticed some strange looking structures near Yunfeng Dam (coordinates: 41°23'02.5"N 126°30'53.4"E and 41°23'19.8"N 126°30'58.7"E). I'm curious to know what these giant seaweed-looking things are. Are they some sort of structures for fishing?

I stumbled across this today while browsing around the perimeter of Missouri. I can't seem to find anything about a crash, but you can see the path that it cut through the timber. Does anyone know what happened?
