Hey everyone. I've always felt Gorakhpur has so many awesome people, but never really had one active space to hang out online. So, I decided to build Checkpoint 53. It's not just a gaming server. Whether you're into PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Switch, or don't game at all, you're welcome. The idea is simple. Find people with similar interests, make friends, chat about games, movies, tech, anything, and take part in events as the server grows. It's brand new, so you'll actually get to help shape it instead of jumping into a place where everyone already knows each other. If you've ever thought, "Man, I wish Gorakhpur had an active Discord", this is exactly that. If it sounds like something you'd enjoy, come join us. Aiims gorakhpur vs seth gs and kem

Hello everyone,I can get both the colleges and would like some advice from someone who's studying there 🙏

First of all ,i know the kem is better in terms of academics but I want better life.if i choose kem then I need to be in small room of 4 which contradicts.also the hostel don't seem good.

Gorakhpur will give single room for me and it seems a decent city, there are only a few options to travel unlike Mumbai

Local police personnel in Uttar Pradesh police stations (thanas) generally prefer applications and complaints (tehrir or prarthna patra) to be written in Hindi (Devanagari script) .

Why not English ??? Do they reject or give less favour to English applications

Thinking of starting a travel company in GKP

I recently came across a reel where two persons are organising a trip to Nepal that too a stranger trip. I am now thinking of starting a full fledged company organising this.

Why I can be the best person for this -

I have already led 3 trips while I was in Delhi.

i)Been to Yulla Kanda Trek 2 times. One time with my friend who was also the founder of the company where I was working. I ascended and descended on the same day. Next time , took a batch of 12 strangers on Janmashtami previous year.

ii) been to spiti valley 2 times as a trip captain. One in summer and one winter batch.

I know the dynamics of handling the chaos and people. So why not give it a chance.

I want suggestion that should I bet this thought?

We actually did it — Gorakhpur Founders Meetup #01

A few days ago, I posted here asking if people would be interested in a small meetup for founders, entrepreneurs, professionals, students and people exploring startups in Gorakhpur.

Honestly, I wasn't sure how it would go.

No big speakers.

No fancy presentations.

No corporate networking drama.

Just a group of people sitting together, introducing themselves, discussing business ideas, startups, challenges, opportunities in Gorakhpur, AI, technology and what we could build together.

And the best part?

People genuinely enjoyed it and asked about Meetup #02.

So this wasn't just another meetup for me. It was a small experiment to see whether there's actually an appetite for a stronger startup/founder community in Gorakhpur.

The answer seems to be yes.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared their ideas and made the first meetup what it was.

Now I'm thinking about Meetup #02 — smaller, more curated, and significantly more valuable 👀 .

Let's see where this goes 🚀.

Thinking of switching to Android because of iPhone storage 💀

Nothing like paying a premium for an iPhone and then having it remind you every other day that you’re running out of storage.

Delete photos?
Still full.

Delete apps?
Still full.

Clear WhatsApp?
Still full.

Restart the phone?
“Storage Almost Full.”

At this point I’m convinced my iPhone has a personal commitment to making sure I never have free storage.
And of course, the solution is conveniently available:
“Buy more iCloud storage.” 🥰

Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, but I’d like to use the storage I already paid for without entering a monthly subscription relationship with Apple.

Honestly, I’m seriously considering switching to Android.
If Android lets me use my phone without playing “What can I delete today?”, I might never look back. 😂

Anyone else reached this level of iPhone-storage frustration?
