Gouache painting - Holbein
Hey! I started gouache several months ago with the popular Himi palette. I really enjoyed it and ended up getting the Windsor/Newton gouache as an upgrade. However, after two months of using this, I ran out pretty quickly so I went ahead and ordered some Holbein artist gouache paint to try out.
I’ve enjoyed learning the differences between all three brands. This one is so pigmented. I had a hard time adjusting, but I’m pretty happy so far with the outcome of this piece as I’m still working on it! As I’m working through it, the difference from all three are a little mind blowing. But I enjoy the challenge. I think if I were to recommend anything to a new artist, I would recommend starting how I started it
