Spare parts

Does anyone have a domestic line on spare parts? Firing pins, springs, etc? Trying to build up a set of wear items since I doubt GO will repair a gun with a modified receiver.

Do you ever see SP45A3s used in gun stores?

I made the mistake of not buying a SP45A3 when they were $1200, as they are all now $1500. I'm curious if any of you have seen a used SP45A3 and remember how much it was selling for. This seems like the best .45 ACP PCC in this price range that isn't an AR pistol variant, as people seem to think the Kriss Vector is a meme in semi-auto. My local ranges won't allow FRTs. I'm also open to alternatives to this gun that are "pistol" length (e.g. not a Ruger PC or Beretta CX4).

I know they're probably still worth it at $1500 but I don't mind buying used. I just rarely see them in stores in my area to begin with, let alone used.

Work in progress

Picked this up this past February and I've been slowly saving my money so I can build it out. It took 75 days to Form 1, on a Trust, with 2 responsible persons. Did the Form 1 and Trust myself with the help from users on reddit. Thanks to everyone for posting good and useful information here.

Anyway, my next item on the list is gonna be an R9. But, if things go the way I'm hoping they do, then it, along with every other can on the market is gonna be sold out everywhere.

PS: Might put on a black K2+. I think it would look better. Let me know what you think. Attached 3rd picture with a black Die Free Co for reference.

Global Ordnance every getting 35* locking blocks back?

Should I just buy another 40* and start dremelling till it looks right? I placed an order for while a while back and they must have sold out right after I clicked it because they lowered my shipping cost and refunded me the money for it since all I had bought was a trigger spring kit and 35* block. Super nice of them to do that.

Multicam Black/Green

Thanks to Panther City Tactical’s pointers. This came out great. I did a MCB last week and wanted more green tone in this gun. Once you get the hang of working in reverse with the stencils it’s a pretty quick process.
Base coat did set up two days though.
Not sure if Rhodie or Frog is next.

Rail was a bit long for the yhm resonator 9. Ended up getting an silencer co hub adapter+flash hider and made it work. Havent gotten around to throwing a light/buis on yet. But my roller bog with some left overs.

Just got the Ember Armory Brace in. I added a new negative space with a file on the Pic rail HBI back plate. I lost the ability to run the QD sling but now the arms are clear of the ejection port and it is parallel to the bottom of the upper receiver. I think this is a good compromise. I've got some

Got the QD mounted but I need a longer bolt and other hardware to mount another QD mount on the other side.

The mount is sold but I really want to make it super secure and add another to the opposite side.

My Stribog SP45A3 so far

Current Upgrades:

  • Obsidian 45
  • Eotech 512
  • HDA3 stock
  • A3 vertical grip
  • Troy Industries Micro HK Sights
  • HB Industries Folding Charging handle, locking block, and bolt catch

There are two big upgrades I'm hoping to put on it later this year.

The first would be the UMP lower FRT kit from AS designs. While pricey, their stuff has worked extremely well for me, so I'm waiting for that to come out.

The other would be the CAT Dito. Technically, I'm borrowing the obsidian 45 from my USP and my understanding is that the upcoming Dito from CAT should work as a 45 ACP version of the CAT MOB (Which is working great on my SP5).
