If you're thinking of going to thousand acre, good luck

Every parking place is full. It's like trying to find free street parking at an event. Drove through twice, cars in bus spots. But there's turnover.

Might be too late, but please be respectful with fireworks this 4th

As a vet with ptsd, and fireworks don’t help it, pledge pleeease please be more considerate. I don’t love trying to relax and I’m jolted and shake and bad memories come rushing back. Please

Euro to $ foreign currency exchange?

Does anyone know where I can exchange euros for dollars? The airport currency exchange is apparently rarely open and I could really use the dollars in usable form. My credit union doesn't handle these things, sadly.

Trash Cleanup Yay!...But I Messed Up Can Anyone Help

TLDR; Yay I cleaned up trash. Oops I left my special dog leash at the Salish Ponds.

So I spent the day cleaning up A BUNCH of trash at the Salish ponds and surrounding trail and bringing it all to the front entrance by the Target where they bring the cart in to pick up the trash. As you can see my dog did most the work. I asked a park employee last week and they said they will definitely pick up the bags if I leave them by that can where they pull their cart in so I did get permission. : )

Unfortunately I screwed up big time though because I was rinsing off my legs in the stream afterward and I rinsed out my dogs leash/ belt and left it on a rock above water level then walked off without it.... there's a reason my dog holds all my stuff in the first place I'm a genuine actual human disaster. : (

*editing this to remove my rambling request to see if anyone could look for my leash if they pass by lmao. I realized there's a decentish chance it'll just sit there for a week until I can go back I was just panicked and really upset at myself I'm sure it'll be okay.

You either die cleaning litter or live long enough to see yourself become a litterer huh? ( ˃ ᗜ ლ)

Sorry for the long post, live long and party on dudes!! ദ്ദി⎚‿⎚)

What's going on with the Internet this week in Gresham?

At my home in Kelly Creek, at my job, at my friends house downtown, all three have had issues with streaming and loading websites, something I've never experienced. Is it the heat? For instance, watching something on streaming, watch 20 seconds, then it pauses to buffer for 10-15 seconds.

Fourth of July Events

Hey y'all! Everyone was so helpful in my last post so I thought I'd get some more information from y'all! Are there any celebrations in Gresham for the Fourth? I've been able to find some festivities in Happy Valley, but wondering if there's anything actually in Gresham, or if we should just look to the surrounding cities instead.

How safe is the TriMet for a teen?

I need to get to my internship in Gresham this summer, and I'm wondering how safe the TriMet is from Vancouver to Gresham, especially around weekday rush hours around 7:30-9:00 AM and 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM? I'm a teenager, female, BIPOC, and my parents are very worried about my safety. For people who regularly ride the TriMet, how safe do you generally feel during those times? Any tips for a first-time transit rider?
