what type of owl is this?
this juvenile owl was sitting on the hose stand for about 30 minutes yesterday before flying away. it was around 6pm in northern illinois.
what species is it? is it healthy?

Update on Angy Rescue Gray Catborb
I took this little borb to the wildlife center 15 days ago. It is still alive and healing from a ruptured air sac. The personnel said it is likely that a cat took it out of its nest 3 days too early. No wonder it was so grumpy!

He seemed upset I saw his failed training flight
(This was taken in the spring.) My pit mix found him and neither of them knew what to do 😂. I put the dog in, locked the dog door, and he was gone when I checked a few hours later.
