found this at a yard sale for $60, burnside sm-1

haven't been able to find any other pictures that match it, any info on body material, pickups, production amount, or even if you just have or have seen a guitar that looks like it i'd appreciate it :)

Help ID Guitar

Recently was passed down this guitar from my late father. Having one hell of a time trying to accurately ID the thing, as I’m not much of a guitar player myself.

Any help identifying the year/model would be greatly appreciated 🙏

ISO S-300 for sale

Kind of a shot in the dark but I’m looking to see if anyone has a lead on an S-300 in White. My late Dad had one and would love to have one to play in my band. Any help would be very appreciated.

So funny story about my dad’s S300. He wanted to paint on black tiger stripes (terrible idea hahaha) and stripped the guild of all its hardware, pickups, etc. My dad left all the hardware in a box underneath his bed. His mom thought it was junk and ended up tossing it (even more terrible). My dad ended just selling the body for something. The white guild has always been something I’ve been on the search on in memory of him.

1969 Guild F-512: I could use some advice caring for this instrument from someone experienced with old Guilds.

I recently purchased this ‘69 F512 and I am looking for a mentor or luthier who can provide some insight to help me take care of it, as I do not have much experience with maintaining instruments of this age and rarity. (How often do I need to clean it, apply fretboard oil, have it setup / looked at, things like this)

Using my Polara for a Stoner project. Advice?

Couple of years ago I won a Guild Polara S-100. I really liked it, didn’t play it too much though. As I wanted to get back into making music, I was about to either sell it or exchange it for a guitar that would be more suitable for metal. Actually got some decent offers for it.

Now that I‘ve had it in hand again a few times and watched some videos about it, I think I fell in love with it again. And I realized, unjust needed to rethink it. Lately I kind of saw it as a boring oldtimey Hard Rock guitar but why would that be bad? And wouldn’t it work great as a riff monster for a Stoner Rock band? Always wanted to write some Stoner songs and now that might be my project for summer.

Heavy gauge strings, new set-up for a lower tuning. Any other ideas or mods anybody can recommend for this idea? I’m open to any ideas!

Just got a brand new Kim Thayil signature and 2 weeks in it has a crack in the finish where the neck thru meets the body. Anyone else have this issue?
