G GUNDAM rocks my deck
Overall, I had to keep reminding my opponent about their effects, but regardless, they had the game in their hands. With their spot removal and some misplays, I allowed them to take it back, as I believe they were still learning their deck at the time of the recording.
It was L for us, a bit frustrating, but at the end of the day, it's just a game to have fun with. I know some people take it seriously, but I'm pretty chill about most things. Though I did get a little upset that I had to keep reminding him about the abilities and effects when the last one was on my turn, and I already drew my card. If this were a tournament or NTC, most players would tell him, "Oh well, sorry it's my turn now."
We live, and we learn from this experience and continue to improve.

Diving into this hobby with my newfound sobriety. Grabbed 5 packs today and pulled... what are the actual odds?
Okay so, for frame of reference- I'm completely new and I've been absolutely diving into Gundam with my new found sobriety. It's become my therapy and past time outside of work and career ambitions.
I hadn't watched Gundam since Wing and I'm 36 now. Can I just say...what are the odds of me getting getting one card from five packs for the one series I started the hobby and Fandom with. Gquuuuuux. From Freedom Ascension. I had been posting in subreddit asking about building a Clan Unity variation deck and have been working on it and I get the most ideal ex-resource card. I even opened a box and didn't get any pulls even close to this.
Just really excited about this whole new world of Gundam card game and gunpla and wanted to share a moment of ecstasy.
Hope I don't come off obnoxious. I just have Noone to share this with. What few friends I have left that are sober that I choose to keep around have no idea about Gundam

Imma be honest, I went to today’s NTC with zero expectations to place high. But Shining Gundam and domon on curve do some pretty hilarious things
This game is so dope, and I really have to give credit to my LGS for teaching me the game and welcoming me with open arms. Started playing around ST09 and I primarily go to events to play more games weekly and to have fun. But i had zero expectations of ever winning a NTC due to inexperience. Shining Gundam is ridiculous

Deck Profile:Nu Wing Gundam Rush.
I made a little short showing off this deck that does pretty well. I wanted to see how wing gundam work with the Nu and Londo Bell team, but honestly, if you don't want the small wing package, you can take it out and put the ramping Nu Gundam in place and maybe a Corsica base instead of Peacemillion to continue to add more pressure to your opponent.
I think it works nicely to be able to attack into most blockers and then heal with either the base or Amuro.

So is everyone else having a hard time finding this set in the wild? Gd04 was hanging out for months. I was getting gd02 and 3 boxes for $80-90 at one point. Fast forward a few months and I was able to get one gd05 box on release day for $155 which hurt enough.. and haven’t seen a trace of it since. Target, Walmart, and all the lgs. Is gundam “popular” now? Did the investor people see the prices of the resources and decide to buy in? wtf is happening? Or was it not printed as much as previous sets?
