I Suck At This Game, And I Love It!

Got GHPC yesterday on steam discount, and its money well spent.
For me best part of game is, when you win a mission you can change your team tanks and enemy team tanks in to whatever you want. That way i can create T-64s VS T-72s or whatever scenarios.
I just wish that there was a 3rd person camera when controlling a tank.

How do I file a bug report?

In Abrams Alley, (or maybe it's global, I don't know why it's happening) I keep getting hit by 9M14 Malyutkas even though they travel through the ground.

Next time I play the mission I'll do an appropriate bug report, but has anyone else encountered this?

"If the Rebels have obtained a complete technical readout of this station it is possible, however unlikely, that they might find a weakness, and exploit it."

What are your thoughts on the Non-Laser sights in the game?

For instance, there's something I like about the T-55 sight out of the non-laser sights. It might be that I prefer how to rangefind with it compared to using a coincidence rangefinder.

What are your thoughts?

Just completed Deep Strike for the first time, I saw playing the mission at night was an option so I immediately went for that, it got REALLY cinematic right there at the end

Am I unlucky as hell or is the AI overtuned as hell?

A T-55 managed to hit my Leopard, while I was on the move at over 50kph, THROUGH A FOREST. I have never had the enemy have this aimbot level of bullshit shots. They hit my Leopard through a house, hit it through forests, and just generally seem to be almost omnipotent.

Rangefinding is hurting my brain

Bought the game recently, always wanted it and saw it on sale. Mucked around in the tutorial area for a bit and the rangefinding is breaking my balls. I swapped over to the instant action and I'm creating this as I restock my ammunition for my M60A1 RISE because 3/4 of my shots were short or high because this rangefinder is confusing as all shit. How do I use it?

What happened here...?

Was (re)playing Destroy in Place when the 2 helos showed up. My platoon and I absolutely hammered one of them with a combined 8 shots. The first 3 especially were right on the nose. It continued to hover and didn't get killed until the final shot which killed the pilot.

Surely this is a glitch of some kind...? I can't imagine any helicopter being able to tank that many HEAT rounds lol.

Actual training documents and field manuals to learn this game?

The way I see, gunnery is one half of the game (with a difficulty slider from M1 Abrams to T-55) for which there are numerous guides, but the other half is planning and executing tactical manouevres and I must admit I have no idea how to approach this. I understand basic concepts like hull down and shoot-and-scoot, but I am lost when actually looking at the map, coming up with possible approaches, identifying good shooting positions, anticipating enemy positions and then coordinating this into a battle-plan.

So, my idea is to look at historical manuals and try to understand how to think about tactics and build a mental model of the battlefield. Has anyone tried this? What would the best starting points for NATO and for WP?

How replayable are the missions?

I know you can change the vehicles in a mission after you beat it... change team, the weather... but are enemy and friendly spawn locations, quantity and objectives different?

If not, the is it fun to play the same missiom but with different units over and over?
