Influencers at the emirates

Thankfully 3 points in the bag after not the finest first 60 minutes! COYG

What is it with all the “influencers” at the games now. I get taking a pic or 2 especially if it’s your first game, great for the memory bank… but seeing so many with their phones during the match not just recording the game but weirdly recording themselves watching.

Maybe I’m just getting old and grumpy and shouldn’t be bothered, after all they’ve paid for their ticket and doesn’t stop me watching the game, but just seems odd to me.

Dream come true!

Arsenal fan since 1998. From a poor country so never even had a thought of watching Arsenal live. Doing great last years so bought a ticket months ago on these resellers pages. Overpaid it but dont care. Watched Arsenal first time live and Im still under lot of emotions. Since Im still in London few says will go to Emirates again just to go around a stadium when it's quiet. Proud to be a Gunner!

Sold a ticket today

Sold one of my family's season tickets last night on exchange. The guy who bought it turned up 5mins after kickoff, and came back in 10mins into the second half. Then when we were 1-0 he took a phone call and left!! Didn't see him again. No singing, no excitement, watching Instagram reels on his phone with the volume up. Total knob. Why do these people bother when there are so many actual fans who are desperate for tickets?!

Going to start posting any tickets here before I list them because I really don't want to have to sit next to someone like that again!

First Ever Arsenal Match!

Visiting from NYC and was unsuccessful in the ballot! Luckily was able to buy a ticket off here from a fellow Gunner! What an incredible and unforgettable day!!!!! I was straight cheesin the whole time 😁😁😁
It’s going to be difficult going back to watching games at the pub when you’ve experienced seeing it in real time at the Emirates 🤣❤️ NORTH LONDON 4EVA

Gooners in Osaka

My husband and I are on holiday in Japan, and we landed in Osaka for last nights game against Leeds. We looked up “pub” hoping for a screen that would show the game, but came away with the best experience of watching a game with Japanese Gooners and other international fans who were in a similar situation to us.

Big shout out to Irish Pub Dublin Bay who had the best atmosphere for watching the game, and a regular group of Gooners that go weekly to watch matches. Everyone was of course shouting all the chants at the top of their lungs including but not limited to: what do we think of 💩, and a new Japanese chant they taught us - ganbare ganbare arseeeeenal ganbare ganbare arseeeeenal

Thanks for having us Osaka 🇯🇵🙌🏻 if you ever find yourself in the area - do head down!!

Arsenal shelve plans for major expansion of Emirates Stadium

Sounds like the club has decided not to proceed with increasing the capacity of the Emirates from 60,000 to 80,00. Instead the club are looking to make improvements to hospitality and retail.

Can see the logic from a sporting side (apparently Arteta was involved in the decision and didn’t like the idea of disruption). However, still quite disappointing news imo given how difficult it is to get to matches these days.

Visiting vegan

My wife and I are coming for the game against Everton and are excited for our first game. She's vegan so I'd love to ensure she has a great meal before we head to the stadium.

Any recommendations for where we should go? Tofu vegan seems to be highly recommended but is it a good spot to go before the game?
