SCAM ALERT!!!! PG scam in Sector 42

Hi guys,

Please note that I have never come across a PG this bad and I want you guys to be aware of the same as well.

For starters, I am a law student in my 4th year, and had come to intern in a company in Godrej GCR Project in Sector 42-43. Hence, I took a PG in Sector 42 as it was walking distance from my office.

Now, i have been in PGs before so it's not as if this is my first staying in a PG. To note, I was stay for a month for my internship which I had informed them via call a long time ago, and thereafter my internship got extended for another month, hence, I stayed for 2 months.

Name of PG: CloudNine Stays (As per the printed rules they had)

Rent Paid: 10k p.m. for triple sharing with 5k security and 1k for police verification. However, since they are not refunding my security, effectively i paid around 12.5k p.m.

Period of Stay: 4 May 2026 to 30 June 2026

Address as they gave: 239, Sector 42, Gurgaon (this address never tracked though and most Swiggy/Zomato people got lost looking for the address they gave me)

Now, this PG has been hell for me ever since I started staying. Firstly, they had this manager named Lokesh (calling them out because they need to be), who left the PG in just 2 days. He had given us Room 302.

Now this room 302 had a leaking pipe (which they never changed) and a broken AC. They never changed the leaking pipe and the manager ran away. We never knew away and later we got to know that he was never the manager. Then someone named Vishal came in, who was better, and I had to show some new prospective tenants the condition of the room to get our room changed (Vishal himself had come to show them our room).

Then we got shifted to Room102 which had a leaking AC pipe and in the morning, the entire room would be flooded like flooded it would be like it had rained inside the room. Even though we complained nothing was done.

By this time, we came to know that the managers were effectively powerless and only acting upon what the main head manager of sorts used to say. His name is Sachin, and this person is an absolute scamster. He used to be abusive and never heed to our concerns. He just works on his own whims.

For instance, when I had contacted them for the first time, they said that electricity is 10 rs per unit. Later when they made us pay for the electricity we got to know they were charging us 13 rs per unit. Moreover, they had said that entire security is refunded. But then we got to know that 2k is deducted as maintenance charges.

When our rooms were cleaned (which we made them to do by removing the beds), there were used condoms under the bed. They had never cleaned the rooms before it seemed. But then this all is still to an extent bearable.

In our last week, both of us were to leave the PG. I had given them the 1 months advanced notice as they had written in the rules and in the Rent agreement (rent agreement pics attached) while my co-tenant was leaving out of frustration.

Now, comes the ultimate frustration part:

For the last week, they knew were to leave. My perfume and one of my belts had been stolen????? and my co-tenant had been subject to abusive language by Sachin. So they moved us to Room 402. This Room 402 had a broken leaking pipe, that's fine. This room had a leaking AC, that's fine. This room had a broken AC which was blowing away hot air 😭😭😭😭😭. Now this was the top-most floor and this room used to be already hot due to the heat and then the AC didn't work, so it was ekdum impossible to sleep in. On top of that, the fan didn't work at full speed and hence effectively broken as well 😔🤟. It was absolutely absolutely horrible for the last week. I could barely sleep for 3 hours. It was unbearably like an oven. And when the AC guy came in, he said he couldn't identify the leak source. We were like move us somewhere else and they said they can't as there's no place (even though new tenants into our last room, i.e. 102) came in only on the second last day of my stay.

By this time there was of course a new Manager and he had absolutely no idea what to do and was just saying what Sachin used to say.

Now the last part, they aren't refunding my security.

Their argument: you had to pay the rent with the notice that is on the 1st of the month.

My argument: in the rules, in the rent agreement, no where have you mentioned that rent has to be paid with notice. Only you have mentioned notice requirement, which i fulfilled via whatsapp as you have mentioned.

Sachin told me it's my mistake i hadn't informed you, what you can do is that you pay for the next month with notice and we will refund it for you, and I'm like bro, I need to go back what will I do by paying for the next month.

So overall, they aren't refunding me my security, have been through a lot of mental harrasment and I'm just dialing them daily for my security. It's like absolutely hell.

PLEASE PLEASE SHARE IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE SO THAT THEY CAN AVOID THIS SCAM PG.

I never do this but sharing the contact details of these scamsters, so you guys can like beware and any PG lookers as well. Please note that they have PGs in different names so beware!!!!
