Woke up feeling thankful for life!

Peak weight was 330, I’m 183 now and happier and healthier than I’ve ever been at 40 years old. Saw that photo on the left and decided I had to make a change. Switched to OMAD and a low carb high fat diet. I do mostly body weight exercises with a little dumbbell work and kettlebells. I don’t obsess over the scale and don’t know my weight until my physicals. I just want everybody to know it’s never too late to make that change. Don’t let the mental fight stop you from the physical one. You got this! Much love to y’all on your fitness journeys!

Started my gym journey 9 months ago

Im 9 months into gym, been a sportsperson since young, I competed in swimming and im 23yr old 5,6 and 155lbs. Some friends at the gym told me I have decent genetics to compete and im deciding it not sure yet. Any thoughts, could I make it in classic or 212?

Gained 8 kg in 2 months - should I keep bulking to 80 kg or slow down?

I’ve been bulking for about 2 months and gained around 8 kg so far. I eat 3000 kcal per day and train 4 times per week (push, pull, legs, upper-body). I started at 67 kg in early may and I’m now almost 75 kg.

I’m definitely seeing good muscle progress, and my lifts are still going up consistently. My original plan was to bulk for 4 months and aim for around 80 kg. For context, I’m 5’9.

But now I’m starting to wonder if I am gainging weight too fast, or if I should slow down in calories and add more time in bulk (perhaps 6 months for a starter.

Should I stick to my original plan (4 months for 80 kg), or adjust is 4 months too little?

Now we that I am at my optimal levels of muscle mass I can sustain my health and longevity over time. Of course I did it with my R.V.4 methodology
