I wanted to ask how is hbtu EE ?

"If your rank is above 100k and you get Paint Engineering, that's alright. Otherwise, don't take admission or you'll regret it. Also, if you are coming only for placements, Chemical and Paint students are actually getting better placements than CS, IT, ME, and other top core branches.

If your mindset is, 'I want it no matter what,' then even a 3-4 lakh rank is considered good enough to get into HBTU. You can easily get into branches like Food, Bio, Plastic, Leather, or Oil. That's all from my side."

Is 2 wheeler (scooty) or cars allowed to park inside campus if we are living in hostels?

Hi everyone,

I'll be starting my Computer Science Engineering degree soon, and I'm looking to buy a laptop that will comfortably last me throughout my 4-year course.

My budget is around ₹60,000–₹70,000 (can stretch slightly if the improvement is genuinely worth it).

I also have a few questions:

1. Should I prioritize a dedicated GPU, or would a powerful integrated GPU be sufficient for most CSE students?
2. Are there any laptop models I should specifically avoid because of heating, poor build quality, or reliability issues?
3. If you've recently completed or are currently pursuing CSE, which laptop are you using, and how has your experience been?

I'd really appreciate recommendations based on real-world experience rather than just specifications.

Bhai mujhe HBTU me CSE mil gyi thi round 2 aur maine 1st pe CSE TFW rkhi thi to mujhe float ka to option show nhi kr rha h sirf freeze ka option h to me kya internal sliding yes kr du ya freeze krke fees submit kru ??

Documents kab tak verify hojayenge,aaj subah mene submit kiya

Round 3 tak jo seat mili hai use freeze krke hi internal me part le sakte hain?

I will apply in Phase-2 counselling. My first preference will be MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. Let's say i got chemical (2nd preference) in Phase-2 Round-1 so, will i have to freeze the option and choose internal sliding option to get mechanical in internal sliding round.

OR

I will have to choose float option to get Mecahnical in 2nd Round?

If i follow 2nd path and wait for 2nd round and still i was not able to get Mechanical in 2nd round, so can i participate in internal sliding?
