TMSL cse core or Heritage AI/ML

Rank- 60XX. I will probably get Tmsl cse core or Heritage AI/ML according to 2024 ranking. And I am confused which one will be better? Though cse core is my preference but also thinking that I will be having a chance in branch change after 1st year if I take aiml in heritage. Also, what more changes I should do??

SENIORS PLEASE HELP ME🙏

I'm getting Civil in HITK as per my GMR (open HS). Would it be a gamble if I opt for it expecting I'd change my branch to CS related branches by the end of 1st year? Or should I look for colleges where I'm getting CS allied branches already i.e NSEC, Techno etc? How hard is it to change branches? Please give me some insights 🙏 Has anyone succeeded in doing so from Civil?

Doubts regarding domicile certificate.

During admission, can I bring documents of my parents to prove my residency in west bengal, as it is mentioned in wbjee information bulletin?

Also do I need a character certificate because my school didn't provide me except the TC certificate?

Also if I don't take a domicile certificate, will my admission process be cancelled?

Taking ECE over CS specialization

So my rank is 71XX in which I may get CSE iot/ ds/ CSBS.

I have little allergy with cs from 11th lol maybe I wasn't focused enough but still.

I am taking ECE here . ( May go for partial drop)

I got some questions

How is the branch?

How are the professors?

How much efforts to put in for 8+ cgpa?

What's the attendance policy?

How is the placements?

Will dropping cs specialization be a blunder?

GATE and future opportunities etc?

I'm 19F, and I need some help regarding college shortlisting and finalising

I am general, female, outside Delhi (west bengal, but I have lived outside bengal my whole life so I can't really relate to the crowd of bengal) my pcm is 80.33 and pcm + additional+ english is 87 and best of 5 is 92 (100 marks in cs) and jee rank is 2.8L. I am getting admission in JSS Noida(Cse-ai/ml) or Heritage Institute of technology (cse, cyber security or data science) or Haldia Institute of technology (cse). What do you think would be a better option for me based on brand value, internships, ROI, placements and exposure? Fees for jss is 16.6L whereas for haldia/Heritage it's 9L

Govt lower branches vs Pvt CSE

I am a female under general category with home state quota and WBJEE rank of 40××. I am getting CSE branch in colleges like GCECT GCELT MAKAUT Uni of Kalyani. I've checked the cutoffs and I might even get KGEC Mech Eng. And JGEC Electrical Eng.

The thing is that I don't want to go to KGEC or JGEC for non-cse branch. Has it been CU or JU i would even go for Chemical but I ain't getting CU or JU with 40×× rank. I am not sure if this is a good decision. Also I live in Kolkata so.

I've studied the placements and curriculum of Heritage CSE and Aliah CSE. Heritage seems to be my best best but recently I've come across posts claiming Aliah and Heritage are the same in terms of placements and infrastructure with Aliah having half the fees of Heritage.

That's why I'm getting a bit confused. Few seniors of mine are in college saying that the placements aren't great at all. EVEN IF YOU UPSKILL🙂🙂. My family income is just slightly above 8LPA but my siblings study in private schools/college too. How shall I convince myself to get into college without proper placements despite my efforts.

IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY IDEA OR CAN SUGGEST ME WITH A BETTER CHOICE, do let me know.
