How the fuck does this make sense? I sent them my 507C for warranty. And when I say brand new I mean I took it out of the box, mounted it, saw a problem, removed it, put it back in the box and filed the claim. Sent it in about three weeks ago and I get an email today saying they replaced it with an “open box” unit…. What the absolute fuck??? If I wanted an open box deal I would have found one online for 50% off and bought that one. But no, I have essentially paid full price for a red dot that has been finger fucked by someone else. I respond to that email, explain my frustrations very politely and their only answer to that was “open box optics are inspected and deemed just as reliable as new optics”. Again, if I wanted an open box optic I would have bought one for half price instead of paying full price for a brand new one.

Every time I get an optic, the next day someone shows up with a killer deal. So this time I thought I’d ask before I order one. Anyone have inside info on where to get a really good deal? Need for my new P365 DH3 AXG.

Besides cost, is there any reason NOT to go with x3 over the x2?

This will be going on a Walther PDP compact 4".

So there are some amazing deals on raids right now, but I know that there are some issues with the light patterns. As far as I know there have not been any anouncements from holosun about new heads. If I purchase a light or two now, will holosun replace the heads if there is an issue with the light pattern?

Hey guys, just picked up a new P09F from GunBroker on a great deal, but have a question about optics compatibility.

I want a closed emitter dot for this pistol, and to me the obvious choice would be something like the Holosun EPS. My question, then, is if anyone has mounted the full sized EPS to their P09, and if it causes any overhang on the slide, or if I would be better off getting the EPS carry.

Or, if you guys have any other optics recommendations, I am all ears as well.

I was going to wait for the new Core to come out but the fact that it doesn’t have Aspherical glass, is kind of a deal breaker

What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?

I get that the sensor should save battery in a sense but what about the voltage required to operate the sensor? That sensor is going to need voltage to read the forward ambient light. Thus more battery into be used?

Just something I’ve been thinking about.

Put hands on an RMR HD and man that 55 MOA circle with the middle dot feels way less busy than the 32 MOA dot. And I didn’t think the 32 was that bad until I saw the 55.
Feels easier and quicker to acquire.

Do we think Holosun will follow trijicons lead?

Sent out my P-01 slide to get milled but then realized the dot I picked up (Holosun 507c) is wider than the slide. Am I cooked or is it possible? Does anyone have a 507c milled to their P-01

Been looking at dots for my new g19.6 and a possible other purchase and stumbled upon gold dots. Not sure how I haven’t before seeing as google says its been an option since 2019 but whatever. The option for red-green color blind individuals makes sense but I was curious if there are any benefits to the gold outside of this? Usually go green but if there are real benefits I have no issue trying something new (Green>red 24/7 365)
