(Sorry if this is confusing my English is not that amazing but it’s alright)

Majority of this sub is saying that this audition is “rigged” and that they are only scouting famous people and that they are mad they didn’t get a call back because they totally deserved it.

You clearly aren’t mature enough to audition if you think like this. Scouted people still have to audition, the casting just personally asks them to. Sure, it is an advantage and they may have a bias towards you but at the end of the day if you really compare the numbers, the amount of people getting scouted is lower than the people auditioning and I can safely assume that the amount of people chosen will be mostly people auditioning from in person or online auditions. I looked through the casting directors accounts and who are they following/trying to contact and I can assure you that 90% of the people getting contacted aren’t even famous, it’s their own personal insta accounts with like 1k followers, you can literally set up an account like that if you wanted to.

Getting mad at the company because you weren’t chosen is reasonable but going on a whole crash out and saying it’s only for nepo babies is just weird. You weren’t chosen for a reason so try to find the reason and work to improve it instead of saying things you will regret and ruining your chances of ever debuting. And trust me, it’s not always about skill so you can’t be saying “but I’m a professional dancer and vocalist, how was I not chosen!?” There’s multiple reasons like, not having star quality, you’re not the vision for this particular project, height/weight requirements and so on.

So stop acting like babies and practice for your next audition! 🤩

Nepotism exists to some extent across many industries, and I think it’s important to remain aware of how it can influence opportunities and decision making. Being critical of nepotism doesn’t mean attacking individuals who benefit from it, it means advocating for fair, transparent, and merit based opportunities.

if instead of saying but🥺but🥺… t-the nepo babes and rich people🥺 they audition too🥺they deserve it too🥺 if u were more critical of what you’re watching online maybe we wouldn’t end up in a situation where the most likely outcome is rich get richer and poor get poorer

Something I think a lot of people aren't understanding is that even if someone is scouted online, they still have to audition like everyone else.

People that are contacted by casting agencies simply already have "the look" that they are looking for as the visual representation of groups in kpop is valued.

Does this give them a better chance? Maybe. Visually, they are passing the screening.

Does this guarantee that they will advance?

Definitely not. If they don't have training potential or that "star quality" they might not advance.

For example, both manon and lara (who were casted) were contacted ASKING them to audition.

Both girls still went through the normal auditioning process. In the DA documentary they even include manons reaction to bring accepted into DA.

A girl that is casted on social media would've passed the screening regardless of how she entered the audition pool.

At the end of the day, this process is very hush and no one outside of the casting team knows what exactly they are looking for.

There are multiple different criteria that needs to be met for a girl to be accepted, just because someone is pretty or talented won't guarantee advancement, that is just the reality of the industry.

Guys i want you all to be completely honest and state your own answers regarding if they are watching online auditons whether people will get selected through online or not?
