On December 14, 2010, a man named Clay Duke entered a live school board meeting in Florida and carried out an armed attack that was broadcasted on television.
Duke spray-painted a symbol associated with V for Vendetta on the wall before pulling out a handgun and ordering most people to leave the room, while keeping several male board members and Superintendent Bill Husfelt inside.
He stated that he was angry over economic issues, including his wife losing her job with the school district, and spoke about financial hardship and distrust of the government.
During the confrontation, board member Ginger Littleton attempted to stop Duke by hitting him with her purse in an effort to disarm him.
Duke then fired several shots at the board members and superintendent but did not hit anyone. School security chief and former police officer Mike Jones quickly responded, exchanged gunfire with Duke, and stopped the attack.
Duke later died by suicide at the scene, and no other people were killed. The incident became nationally known because television cameras were recording the meeting live, and footage of the attack spread widely online afterward.

lawandcrime.comInterview with a 19-year-old who decapitated a homeless man and kept the head and hands in his bedroom closet. His mother would later find the remains while cleaning his room ..
Warren Barnes was a 69-year-old homeless man living in the city of Grand
Junction, Colorado. He was known around the community to read books and sit on a chair most of his time near a wedding shop in the area. He was nicknamed the reading man by some of the store owners due to
his interest in books.
People described Warren as a gentle and quiet individual. Customers and employees of nearby stores gave him books, occasional pastries, peaches, and drinks. However, Warren Barnes's life would be taken prematurely by a cold-blooded
killer.
Brian cohee Jr. was 19 years old at the time of this crime. prior to the murder, Kohi had been experiencing mental problems and persistent thoughts about murder. During his police interrogation, he said that he wanted to kill a homeless person or a prostitute, believing that their disappearance would go unnoticed.
He would routinely drive around at night stalking homeless encampments for any potential victims. In 2018, he killed a cat and kept its head in his house for 3 days before
discarding it.
Due to his alleged fascination with serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, Kohi was nicknamed Dahmer at the high school he attended. On March 1st, of 2021 , a 911 call was made from Kohi's parents to report a decomposing human head and hands found in his bedroom closet.
As police officers arrived at their house, Brian Kohi approached them and immediately confessed to murdering Warren Barnes. "I've always wondered what murder felt like," he said. He also told officers the victim's name, the weapon used to kill him, and the location of the murder.
Brian cohee was detained and taken to the police station for interrogation. He told investigators that he was driving around and saw Warren sleeping under a bridge. He exited his car, put on three layers of gloves, and started stabbing Warren with a knife.
According to him, warren Barnes began begging for his life in a panic. Cohee described himself growling and making anim animalistic noises as he was stabbing Warren. After killing him, he cut off his hands and head and placed them into plastic bags before putting them in his car.
He drove them home and hid them, then cleaned the blood from his knife and car.
He also confessed to traveling back to the crime scene and unsuccessfully attempting to dispose of the remaining body
parts by placing them in the trunk of his car and dumping them into the Colorado River, flooding his car in the process. His car was towed out of the water by the police department and cohee was allowed to leave the scene without suspicion.
He confessed to taking pictures of Warren's body before deleting them because they could quote, "be used as evidence." The pictures were later recovered from his phone by authorities.
In February of 2023, Cohee was convicted of first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body, and tampering with physical evidence. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
