8:47 am on December the 9th, 2024.The exact time I first heard Lzzy Hale scream.The exact time that fry scream cut through my headphones and plunged into my ears.The exact time that, completely unbeknownst to me, I entered a marriage of devotion, one that I will stay faithful to forever.

From that point on, my Spotify history is less of a window into my listening habits and more like a shuffled version of the Halestorm discography, lightly sprinkled with Evanescence and The Pretty Reckless.

Halestorm didn't just change my music it changed my world. Every lyric screamed and riff shredded is like audible fucking cocaine to me. Ain't got the same side effects and they weren't fucking listed on the bottle.

So now after probing my inner freak I've figured it all out. Extreme obsession. Musical hypnotised for Lzzy Hale's vocals. Wardrobe evolution. Proud freak status. And so, with my new sudden urge to buy leather jackets, the monologue in me would like you to imagine this paragraph walking off into the sunset with the explorer over it's back proud to be a freak!

Just thought I’d ask and see what everyone’s favourite Halestorm original is that isn’t like super mainstream, personally Tired of Trying from the basement demo years is simply fantastic. Still has all the amazing raw emotion, amazing pacing and just hits so hard
