How many Halestorm fans have you met in real life outside of a concert?

I've met only one, who is my current partner (they're awesome, our favorite song is Do Not Disturb lol). How often do you find Halestorm fans in the wild?

Nebraska show

Dumb question, but is the Nebraska show “a night with halestorm” an acoustic set or is it a normal electric set?

Hot Springs 06/27

Does anyone know the song Lzzy sang on her knees in the middle of another song? I was enthralled during the concert and didn't get a chance to look it up.

That was my first Halestorm concert and I'll absolutely be attending as many more as I can. The entire band had a stage presence and intensity that had me engaged for the duration. I especially enjoyed Freak Like Me live as well as their cover of Bad Romance!

I'll continue to be a life long fan!!

What is your story about how you got into Halestorm?

I found out about them through Evanescence. I loved and still do love Evanescence and so when I saw an Amy Lee feature on “Break In“ I listened to it. I was like “huh, this is kinda cool” so I listened to the heavier stuff next. I started with The Strange Case Of… and funnily enough I didn’t like it at first because of it being just different enough from Evanescence that it threw me off lol. Definitely grew on me though! “Mz. Hyde” was the first song I fell in love with. What are your stories?

What are some of your favorite quotes from the band?

These can be funny, serious, all of the above. Throw in your favorite quotes from the band (even better if they're out of context)

My favorites:

"Are you accusing us of growing up?" -Joe

"Once they were in the refrigerator, my pants" -Lzzy

"That... is a rhetorical question, okay?" -Josh

"This is the bathroom, or as I call it, the king's lair" -Arejay

Circa 2006...I was meeting in NY with the head of AR at Atlantic Records about a project.

He paused to say hello to someone. I glanced at his desk and (reading upside down) saw a list that said "Artists we may drop". A name popped out on there... Halestorm.

I remember how much that band was touring and working at the time... I'd seen them in Philly .. but were just not getting into the studio. When he returned I mentioned that I'd be up for working with them and he asked if I'd contact their manager... the legendary Bill McGathy.

From then on, things happened quickly. I brought in an independent AR guy Pete Ganbarg to help me with the project and we went in and made the first album... then the 2nd...and then they won a Grammy! This could NOT have happened to a more worthy hard working artist! I was sooo proud of them!

I loved doing the vocals with Lzzy.. she had a depth of range that she was starting to find on album one and on The Strange Case... she killed it. Everything came together: Pete was also now officially running AR at Atlantic and their champion at the label, they got great tours, the radio was blowing up, and the band was delivering every night, writing great songs, and building a strong fan base. It was a great, synergistic time for all of us.

Spell on you

I think it would be cool if Halestorm could perform Spell on you, or Hex Girl. From Scooby Doo that is all.
