Devs Suggestion: Infinite Arrow-Time

I think it'd be cool to eventually have an Unlimited Slow-Mo ON/OFF toggle in the settings.

It could be available from the start, or a reward after beating the Baron / other progression metric.

A nice bonus would be a double-tap function on the arrow-time key for an even slower speed, with a customisable slowdown rate. But tbh the unlimited slow-mo toggle is the main feature I'd love to see.

It allows for a different playing experience: you can make more deliberate, strategic decisions, enjoy lower fps, create more cinematic fights, and capture screenshots more easily in Photo Mode.

What do you think?

I have a pretty dated pc, should I atleast try out the full game?

I have like a 1050 TI i think, not great lol. i can run the playtest at a steady 30 fps(i set that as my max), on DX11 (due to crashing when exiting abyss) and high graphics, it slows down when people start bleeding when theres like 4 people fighting at once, but its still manageable (i am absolutely fine with low or medium graphics), but to others who may have had similar experiences should i try out the full game, or just wait til i can buy a better pc?

One of the TOUGHEST Willie I faced so Far (after the update)

Never expect he would be able to block and parry my attacks three times in a row. One of the most exciting duel I ever had. Great job dev! 🫡

Is grappling better in EA?

Been seeing a lot of praise for EA recently and I'm considering finally upgrading from the demo

My favorite way to play has to be grappling / unarmed combat, even though it was the most RNG dependent part of the demo for me with the random grip slip and inconsistent grab locations. Sometimes Willie came into the ring untouchable as if he was lathered in oil and other times I could carry him across the entire arena with one arm

My main questions are

  1. are trips and throws possible/more consistent (Leg sweeps, Shoulder throws etc)

  2. Is grip slip still RNG dependent / As bad as the demo

  3. How is H2H combat, is kickboxing still possible / been changed at all?

  4. Can you execute joint locks and break limbs with arm/kneebars?

Healing Costs

Healing costs have Suddenly jumped up to crazy numbers like 600-800 flemings, did something change? After taking minor injurys ( I.E no dismemberment or broken bones) it should only cost less than 100 or so. The price of healing has totally eclipsed what is possible to make even from winning Lord Tourneys.

Blossfechten Tournament

I’m really enjoying the addition of Blossfechten. Before it was part of the game I used to freeplay a lot of low-armour longsword VS mid-high tier grunts (It was still a dice roll on whether or not you’d end up fighting another grunt with a longsword though).

I do feel however that it’s not worth picking in progression mode unless you’re really looking for something with a real threat to your character.

One thing I’d personally love to see is a Blossfechten tourney-style game mode similar to the demo. Maybe it’s just the HEMA nerd in me but the longsword vs longsword gameplay is top notch in this game. I just feel like once you have an established progression character in some armor the longswords kinda become irrelevant, which of course does make sense.

Shoutout to my fellow commoner-tier enjoyers from the demo.
