Finished my first attempt at a helmet. Probably should have picked something simpler in retrospect but that’s okay. Any pointers? I think my green is too glossy, i didn’t sand the print enough, and i think i went a little over with the weathering. Considering continuing with an oil wash, matted clear coat to stop the shining, and maybe add those little white stripes on the tusks.

Again, this is my first ever attempt so honestly it turned out better than I thought.

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Based off the nerf ma40. I fully disassembled everything and primed inside and out.

To make the K (kurtz) variant I started by trimming the shroud to remove the front and top assemblies. That shortened the overall silhouet to where I wanted, but left the barrel hanging simce its actually held in by the flash hider assembly.

To fix that and fill in the gaps left behind I modelled a front plate with a hole for the barrel and a new forward top plate with a pic rail. Everything then got glued together.

I used a worker nerf to pic rail part to add the top rail on. Then wprked up some greeblies from model kits to add details on the front assembly and top end.

Red dot is an off brand amazon sight that I thought has.a Hol ish look. The ammo counter is a nerf replacement unit off thingivers that I modified with a hole for a clear display and rpund battery compartment on the side. I printed up a replacement glass part in clear resin, and backlit with an led light strip like they use for Iron Man eyes in cosplay.

Ghen I went to town with accessories lol. Up front is a PEQ type airsoft item that has a light Ir and green laser, in universe it would be to replace the light lost in the k conversion and the targeting system thats normally under the front shroud.

I used a tri rail stl off thingiverse to replave the batter part of the handguard, and mountrd a "grenade launcher". The launcher is a pump action gel blaster, m203 style sort of.

Finally I printed up a suppressor, remodelled with a hole to fit the Nerf size barrel.

Painted with rattle cans in shades of black, and hand brushed tamiya acrylic. Then a combo of dry brushing, painted scratches, and oil wash.

The visor is mirror-reflected and one-way visible.

The last one is more so to see how I place things on the new chest rig and got to paint the straps back to black as I may have made a mistake got any tips let me know please 🙏😭
