I’m not saying the feature doesn’t activate, it absolutely does. I just mean that everytime someone has a sniper they insta headshot me weather or not I was shooting at them. It’s like the descope had no effect on the match up they still killed me as if I was just standing still

Vs when I get deScoped I feel like my aim is completely Thrown off to the point where I can’t hit any shot

So what gives? Is it just bad settings on my part?

Hi. Recently started playing, i really really like halo 2 anniversary for some reason. is there a good way to find custom maps other people have made, id love if anyone's tried remaking the original halo 2 maps

EDIT: I somehow misread the ban message in a panic, it was like 5 minutes or something and I am currently matchmaking. My question still stands though, just in case

Original post: Just got banned from matchmaking for the rest of the day (not terrible, I'll be able to play again tomorrow, kinda just upset). The problem is that I hadn't quit the match, I was forcefully disconnected. It gave me the opportunity to reconnect, so I clicked join and it loaded for a few seconds and then banned me. This isn't the first time this has happened, but it had been at least a year since last incident.

I don't know whether i stumbled on some form of hacker that booted me, or if my internet decided to just kick itself, or whatever, but I am concerned that this could happen again. I grew up on Halo, but haven't had an Xbox in years, have been playing MCC on steam and have been trying to get all the achievements. Is there any possible way to ensure that I don't run into any issues in the future so that I can keep my account online?

I need help with MCC customs I can get it to work when I do "custom multiplayer" but not "custom game browser". For example if I tr to play grifball for halo 3 it will load me in fine but then I go to browser and it loads in me in with an AR. I’ve tried so many different variants and trying to adjust them then redownload them and try different maps. Every time I load into a custom browser I’m hosting it’ll be an AR, if it’s a multiplayer I start it will work just fine but randomly arent able to join

I tend to lose most BR 1v1 when it matters even if I land the first shot. I can win the 1v1 against maybe half players. But there’s always 1-2 sweaty guys and no matter how I engage him he always comes ahead.

I think it’s 4 headshot in 1 kill.

I am playing with controller. It feels like PC players can somehow “double shot” me or at least they can fire their BR much faster.

Is there an advantage to playing on keyboard/mouse for these 1v1s?

I'm an absolute halo veteran. Played since halo one. Grew up playing this game. Fast forward and it's been a few years since I played so I figured what the heck. Unpacked the old Xbox, got everything updated, bought a month of online and figured I'd get a few games in.

Played one day and it went decently well. Felt different for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on it. But not terrible.

Week later i decide alright let's give it another shot. Play a couple of games. Ended up in an 8v8 where the other team had all power weapons and all vehicles. Gauss sniped across the map on seemingly impossible shots. Finally i just said you know what? This isn't even fun in the slightest. Left the game. The game warns me you can be banned for leaving games but I figured it's only one game. So what? Joined another game and it goes great. No problems at all.

Try to queue up another and suddenly "you have been temporarily banned from matchmaking"

For what? We aren't allowed to leave a single game? Absolutely NOT the way to get players back into the game. What have they done to my halo? What is this garbage nonsense?

Playing Halo 2, got close the end with no skulls but cannot get over the last few missions. Do the above skulls void legendary achievements?

Just started playing MCC again after a couple years and I know theres things like server issues and cheaters, but come on, this is the worst Ive ever seen in a game. Almost every game, theres some form of cheating, whether it be aim, walls, flying, spinning, or whatever. Almost all these basement dwellers have no armor customization except for a helmet (maybe) and the flame (again, maybe). Ive seen their names be different than what the game shows and who it shows you killed, names spelt differently/randomized, the works. Im not some MLG player or anything, but i still played custom games over my time away from multiplayer, so im not too rusty and can place near the top for almost every game usually without sweating too hard. I know these people are cheating because the first halo 3 game i played i went pretty much 10-20 and I checked and it was people who were competitive lvl 50 in a bunch of things, and the entire time I never thought they were cheating, I just knew we were getting completely outplayed. But when I drop into a game of infection and watch some guy never misses a single pistol headshot with bloom applied as he spams it at 8 of us or when a guy in snipers gets 19/20 headshots with no misses, it gets annoying. I know MCC isnt great with matchmaking, but it gets old when you try to play it for fun and you have to go 20-3 otherwise you lose the game. I just want to play a game to have fun and custom games arent always available, especially where I live now. TLDR, I just want to have fun with the game without dealing with losers who have nothing better to do than cheat in a 10+ year old game, I just want the devs to be better with their client to stop people from ruining this game Ive played my whole life.

There are so many installs. I know we can uninstall and install again but I have a few questions: (Please read)

1. When I uninstall a game (suppose reach) will it save its memory?

2. Do I have to install extended language version? What even is it?

3. What happens when I install a Halo -- Multiplayer? We cant play multiplayer without it? What is Halo 1 Multiplayer in my dlc?

4. Can we install all games in a pendrive and then play it whenever we want?

I would rather to fight Consort Radanh from ER rather than finishing those Spartan Ops.

What they thinking of doing those!?!?!?

P.s. i'm doing them on legendary because of a challenge and i said myself " at this point let me finish them no? what could happend? "
