Red Light Camera Violations?
I know this is a long shot, but on June 16th I was stuck st the light on S Mallory st trying to get across the bridge to I64 at around 335pm. There was a massive line of cars, and the light never cycled to allow our lane to go. The turn lanes were cycling, but we stuck. People were routinely running the light, so when I got a clear chance, and had visual cues from other drivers, I proceeded through behind another driver. I subsequently received a red light camera summons for 50$. I have requested a hearing and would like to connect with anyone else who received a summons or has had issues with this light. I may not win my case (honestly it's 50$, it's not that big a deal financially) but charging people for non functioning lights at intersections is ridiculous and I'd like to fight it.
