How I decorate my planner

I love to decorate with stickers and I'm really liking how this years planner is turning out. May is my favorite so far, do you have a favorite? Do the colors for each month make sense?

Thank you ☺️

There are no flip throughs of the summer collection to be found - rant

Okay, let me preface this by saying that this is just my opinion/speculation, and I’m not claiming to know what is happening behind the scenes.
I’ve always assumed that most planner YouTubers who receive Happy Planner PR boxes are not necessarily being paid directly to make flip-through videos, and that they mostly benefit through PR products and affiliate links if viewers decide to buy something.
However, with the summer release, I noticed that not a single creator I normally watch (at least six different people) has posted a flip-through, just a generic “new collection is live, here’s my link” community post. And honestly, I’m disappointed for two reasons.
First, I watch flip-throughs before deciding whether I want to buy anything. Happy Planner’s official product photos and videos are often not enough for me. I want to clearly see the dividers, weekly pages, discs, inside covers, notes pages, and hear someone’s thoughts before making a decision.
Second, the sudden silence has made me wonder how much of the usual launch excitement is truly organic. If creators normally post flip-throughs because they are genuinely excited and because they want people to use their affiliate links, then why is nobody posting about this release at all? Maybe it’s simply because it’s a smaller release. Maybe people are busy. Maybe HP didn’t send out PR boxes this time. I don’t know.
But it does make me question things a little. If creators receive any kind of compensation or benefit connected to promoting a release, I wish that relationship was disclosed more clearly and consistently. Because when everyone posts on the same day for some releases, but then there is total silence for another one, it feels sus.
I’m not saying anyone is lying, and I’m not trying to attack any specific creator. I actually enjoy watching these videos, which is why I noticed their absence in the first place. I just wish there were more clarity around what is PR, what is sponsored/paid, what is affiliate-linked, and what is truly just personal excitement.

TLDR: I’m not claiming to know what happens behind the scenes, but the lack of flip-throughs for the HP summer release has made me wonder how much of the usual launch excitement is organic vs. connected to PR, affiliate links, or paid promotion. I just wish things were disclosed more clearly.

Am I stupid?

Am I stupid for thinking these should’ve fit together? It was advertised as a bundle on the website. I wasn’t paying close attention to the binding on the planner but assumed since everything matched and was a “classic layout” it would fit. Just a little bummed 😞

The Happy Life Folios can be Wishlisted now!

I am so excited for these! I can't decide on a color. I did not realize that they all seem to have different textures as well. I like the dotted texture on the pink one! What do you all think of these and which color do you like best? I wish they made an A5 Discbound too.

Did anyone else get a "it's back in stock email" but the price is 30% more on website than email?

I got an email saying the coquette paper is back in stock. Yay!

It's 6.99 in my email, but 9.99 on the website. Boo!

https://thehappyplanner.com/products/cafe-coquette-scalloped-edge-dotted-lined-big-filler-paper-40-sheets?utm_klaviyo_id=01KHPH1GJDQD1MY3WS5A162G9B&_kx=HxAEVQoroQlbm2HlrEj9gXaiDk2LBvIKeVgXiGiWjZU.St23mk

It's so cute, but I don't think that's right to advertise that way, is it?

HP clearance prices Michaels

They don’t have that much selection, but I noticed just now that the United States Michaels webpage has quite a few few things clearance priced. Gold metal discs classic for $4 pack, $12 for silver expander size, and several old-ish sticker books for eight dollars. The discs did not show up at first, unless I searched the term metal discs. Might be worth checking out if you live near a Michaels and don’t forget to do a screenshot first of the price! Their shipping is kind of expensive, but might be worth it if you have enough stuff to buy… there’s a code online to get the full priced items for 40% off I think but there isn’t anything new.

redating guide: reuse old planners

The redating guide for 2026/2027 is ready!

What is this guide? Well, by switching around months from out of date and unused The Happy Planners planners, you can create one for the coming academic year with minimal to no whiteout.

For instance, January 2025 and October 2025 have the same structure (same day is the first, same number of days, etc.) as July 2026, so one of those months can be used for July in a make your own 2026/2027 planner from for instance products you bought on clearance.
Do that for the other 11 months and you have a new planner ready to go!

New layout

Worked on a new layout today. I think I’m going to add a little more on the right side.

Feeling floral

I’ve been spending a lot of time in my garden and felt inspired. 💐

Half way through the year, and I just noticed

We’re half way done with the year and I just realized that my Mini dashboard pages are cut/punched crooked. I can’t unsee it now.

I bought the clear sticker guide and I thought that was crooked because the lines never aligned. Now I know it’s the paper.

Frustrated

Hey. I'm based in Ireland and all availability of Happy Planner products seems to have evaporated. I was going to order from their own website but I was hoping to get it in less than 6 weeks and all the cute designs dont ship outside of the USA. I can't find any resellers either.

I've been looking at moving to another disc planner system but I haven't found anything similar. I'm nearly out of planner pages, so I might just start printing my own. Total drag though.

Any suggestions? I love my Happy Planner, but I will have to resort to bootlegging at this rate!
