🔥a massive black caiman captures a smaller caiman for lunch (video by @jes.travels on Instagram)
*NOTE: the original uploaded is mistaken in that this is not a case of cannibalism. The preyed upon caiman is either a yacare caiman or spectacled caiman. Not only are both much smaller than black caiman, they are also both different species than the black caiman, and as such, this is not cannibalism.

Asiatic lion attack in Palitana
From what I could find, the victim (cattle herder) survived and was taken to the nearest hospital. The incident has sparked outrage among the villagers and the forest department has requested that wild animals be kept away from the village.

A zebra gets gutted by a crocodile
I think this is the fourth time I've seen a zebra break out of crocodile's grip but got gutted in the process and died on shore.

Compilation of 3 solo hunts today done by male Lions in and around the Sand River, Maasai Mara. A reminder that male Lions also do not hunt differently than other big cats and will use the “easiest” technique when bringing down large prey. This doesn’t make them any less exceptional hunters however.
