Everyone Needs a Spare, Right?

Found these in a few dealerships on my road trip. For the folks who want to go full-on Stage 5, bypassing Stages 3 & 4. 😎

250 Years of Independence. Seemed Fitting to Spend the Day at Harley-Davidson 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 250 years later, freedom still means the same thing. To me, Harley-Davidson has always symbolized the freedom of the open road and the choice to ride your own path. Happy Independence Day. 🦅🇺🇸

The wildest door bell camera i’ve ever seen

So a friend of a friend is in the burn ward getting a skin graph. i asked what happened and i get these videos. i’m an offroad guy and i’ve never seen anything like this. i begged to let them make him make a gofund me cus he’s messed up on pain meds and i don’t think he understands the costs right now while he’s going through it. This is the most insane shit i have ever seen. Fuel line let go just as he was pulling into the driveway, sprayed all over his legs, then the exhaust turned him into a human torch. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-jonathon-recover-from-burn-accident if you can help a brother out send him a a couple bucks for a beer towards his bill that would be awesome. been riding and building my bikes my whole life and i’ve never seen it go this wrong so fast. prayers for our dude.i’ve never been so grateful for all the bullshit “good enough” fixes that i’ve done.

Southern thunder harley davidson nightmare

I purchased a motorcycle from Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson in Mississippi over a month ago. When I bought it, the salesman told me the motorcycle needed to go through service, but assured me I would have it within two or three days. That promise was a major reason I agreed to purchase the bike.

Since then, I have been repeatedly disrespected, spoken to condescendingly, and lied to about when the motorcycle would be completed. I was told the bike was almost finished and that it only needed one more thing before it would be ready. I was promised it would be completed by day five or day seven.

When I went to the dealership on day seven and spoke with the service manager, I looked at the motorcycle myself and discovered that none of the work had even been started.

The salesman and the sales manager then gave me what they called a firm deadline, promising that the motorcycle would be ready no later than three days from that date. That deadline came and went.

I returned to the dealership on day 14, and once again the motorcycle was not ready. This time I was told they were waiting on parts.

Around day 20, I called again. The service manager told me the bike had been reassembled and was going through its heat cycles. He assured me I could pick it up the following day. The next day came, and I received no call.

The following Tuesday, I finally got another call. This time I was told the motorcycle was not running, they did not know what was wrong with it, and they could not figure out the problem. Even then, I was promised it would be ready in another day or two.

By day 30, I had to return to the dealership because no one would return my calls. I had repeatedly asked to speak with the general manager and left my name and phone number several times, but I never received a return call.

I spoke again with the sales manager, who has repeatedly lied to me, treated me disrespectfully, and spoken to me in a condescending manner. He told me the motorcycle still was not ready, that they did not know when it would be ready, but that it was now their top priority and would definitely be ready by Thursday. Thursday came and went, and the motorcycle still was not ready.

It has now been more than 30 days since I purchased the motorcycle. The dealership accepted my $1,500 down payment, and I am about to make my first loan payment on a motorcycle that I was promised would be ready in two or three days. After more than a month of broken promises and repeated delays, there is still no end in sight. I am at my wit's end.

I have repeatedly asked the dealership to let me choose a different motorcycle, refund my money, or cancel the deal altogether. They have flatly refused and have treated me as though I have done something wrong.

I am a 100% permanently and totally disabled United States Army veteran living on a fixed income. I served my country with honor and integrity, and I expect the same from the businesses I choose to do business with.

Unfortunately, my experience with Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson has shown a complete lack of honesty, integrity, and respect for its customers.

San Jacinto Harley Davidson

🚨 PSA for Anyone Considering San Jacinto Harley‑Davidson (Pasadena, TX) 🚨

If you’re thinking about buying a Harley in the Houston area, do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from San Jacinto Harley‑Davidson.

My family has been riding Harleys for over a decade. We dropped over $100,000 at San Jac last year on two bikes. So when our son finished safety class and wanted his first Harley, we figured they’d treat him right. Spoiler: they didn’t.

He told them EXACTLY what he wanted — mid controls, pipes, new seat, highway bars, foot pegs. They said “No problem, we’ll order everything.” They brought in the bike he wanted, told him to sign paperwork so the parts could be ordered, and then told him to take the bike home to “put some miles on it” while they waited for parts.

Two weeks later We get a text saying:

• Mid‑control kit won’t be available until September or unsure if ever
• Only one foot peg arrived
• And any pipes he wanted (except one chrome S&S) would void his warranty

So basically:
They made sure he bought a $25,000 bike, then admitted they couldn’t get the parts they promised, and blamed availability and “warranty issues” to cover their own incompetence.

This dealership is the definition of take your money first, figure out the truth later. They didn’t check part availability. They didn’t care about the customization he asked for. They didn’t care about customer loyalty. They cared about closing a sale — period.

We’ve been Harley riders for 10–15 years. Loyal. Devoted to the brand. But San Jac?
Never again.
They’ve lost our business permanently, and I hope this post saves someone else from getting screwed the same way.

If you’re shopping for a Harley in Texas, go literally anywhere else. San Jacinto Harley‑Davidson is a masterclass in how to burn customer trust to the ground.
