Been raining all week . Had a break today so I thought. About 10 miles out it started coming down. No biggie and would do again. Did see some deer tho, very wary of the sporty. Softail is quieter so they don't run as fast 😂.

Based on this helmet, here’s what we can say about its owner:

• his nickname is “Hak” (probably it is nick)
• We’re not sure what that cartoon character (on back) is supposed to mean, but it’s probably some kind of symbol.
• he practices karate (Kyokushin)
• (optionally) he’s probably a fan of Japan
• and he of cousre is Harley owner :)

Question though:
Do you think those last two things clash with each other too much? What you think guys?

Voila je possède une Iron 883 XL de 2013 et que j’ai acheté en 2013, avec Stage 1 et sa ligne Vance & Hines, les twin slash précisément!
Je sors du contrôle technique, un mec sympathique mais au finale me dit que le bruit ne passes pas du tout… Sur la carte grise c’est 94db à 2875 tours/min et j’ai le droit à une tolérance de 7db.
Il fait les trois séries de test, et il tombe sur 112db.
Ok! Je dois avouer c’est vrai que c’est fort! Mais voilà c’est une Harley merde!
Du coups recalé, j’ai un mois et demis pour revenir avec une solution.

J’ai appelé le chapter où j’ai acheté la moto, et le gars était embarrassé, on discute quoi faire, installer des quiets buffles, killer db, je trouves qu’un modèle pour les Twin Slash, et que tu perds seulement 2 à 4 db seulement?! Ça fait cher le peu de décibels en moins.

Le gars de l’atelier me demande si je peux remonté les pots d’origine que j’ai gardé dans ma maison d’enfance à 850km d’ici où je vis. Encore un problème à régler mais c’est qu’un colis à envoyer. C’est des pots d’origine 2 en 1, pas de silencieux séparés. Je ne sais même pas si les pattes de fixation du pot inférieure est la même que mes Twins, et aussi savoir si j’ai besoin de re cartographier la moto si je remontes les pots d’origine ?
Le contrôle technique est à 10 minutes de chez moi à 55€ contre 80€ ailleurs. Et je manquerais pas de remettre mes Twins une fois rentré !
Donc voila je n’arrêtes pas de ruminer.. Et si la réduction n’est pas assez, si j’ai besoin de remap, et si…
Bordel j’aurais eu que les silencieux à enlever, c’était presque plié..

Hello all- apologies in advance for my lack of knowledge concerning motorcycles in general. My boyfriend’s grandpa recently passed, and he was a huge fan of vintage Harley. We’re in the process of selling what he owned, and unfortunately none of us were into motorcycles like he was.

This piece has baffled me a bit. I understand it’s a transmission case.. but from the research I’ve done it could have been made anywhere between 1930- late 1960’s. Was wondering if anyone could possibly help me assess the for sure specific product name/the year it’s from.

What are these lines called or part numbers? I know I need a new stoplight switch with em. TIA. Figures this happens a week after I replace the brake line that blew out lol

This is my fourth Harley and definitely my favorite so far. Over the winter it got Fueling cams and complete cam chest. Also a Thundermax tuner and some new hand-tooled leather work.

It runs like a top and is super fun to ride!
