A child’s voice out of nowhere.

My name is Jenna and when I was 12 years old my mother(great grandmother but the only mom I had known) had passed away several months earlier from prostate cancer. I was now living with my aunt who was a little crazy but very good to me and my uncle who never liked me and didn’t really want me living with them.
We just moved into a new larger house and had been there for about a week or two. It was the weekend and my best friend from our old neighborhood came to sleepover for a couple nights.
Also I should mention it had recently been my birthday and I got a magic 8 ball that same day from target with a gift card my birth mom had given to me.
We were playing downstairs talking or whatever watching tv a little. We stopped watching tv cause we were going to go do something else instead I can’t remember what. We stood up and we were talking face to face when a child’s voice to the left of me said, “Jenna we want to play with you,” in a sort of sing song little voice.
I thought I was crazy or something but my friend had heard it also. It came out of nowhere. It was so shocking that we just stared at each other for a few moments my friends eyes were huge and beginning to water. I was frozen in fear. my friend and I were face to face like I said and neither one of us said that. But out of the loss of anything to explain it I still had o ask her if she just said that. She said no and then asked me the same but I hadn’t said it either.
We ran upstairs and began crying to my aunt who was on the couch watching her shows. We explained what happened. And she didn’t seem too shocked by it, she probably sorta thought we were fooling around or mistaken or something. She didn’t have too much of a reaction at all other than to say I should get rid of my magic 8 ball cause this never happened before I “brought that damn thing home.” So she threw it away and it never happened again. I don’t know if she really believed me or not. She always told me not to mess with ouija boards or anything else like that so she must have believed in paranormal stuff at least a little bit.
My great grandmother tried an ouija board out when she was young and I guess some crazy stuff happened to her from doing it.
I was pretty terrified about this happening to me. It took me about 20 years to tell anyone else about it without crying anymore and reliving that fear. I was so scared that if I talked about it that it would happen to me again.
What do you guys think this was. I’ll never really know but I’d like to know what others think.

The haunted AF attic apartment

First I’m sorry this is a so long. This happened to me in 2009, and it completely changed my thoughts on what is possible in this world. For some background I was a chef at this time. Until around this time i didn’t think anything about paranormal topics. My ex and I had just moved into an apartment right across from the university in my town. It was a huge old (1800s) 4 story house that had been converted into apartments. The apartment was originally the attic of the home and was very small. In the back of the bedroom closet there was a small door about 2’x2’ that opened into a creepy unfinished portion of the attic with no floor and a grimy old window facing the parking lot. The night we moved in I was exhausted from bringing all my stuff in up 4 flights of old wooden exterior stairs repeatedly. On my last trip up one of my new neighbors (who was outside smoking) came up and said something like “Hey, you must be tired, let me know if you need anything to give you some energy” I said no thank you and finished up. Here’s where the weird stuff starts. I didn’t unpack anything I just put my mattress on the floor and went to bed. In the morning at the foot of the bed was a pair of old slacks (I call them that because they weren’t casual pants) they may have been wool, they were dark green, covered in dirt, and sitting on the floor exactly at the foot of where I was sleeping as if someone had taken their pants down and left them sitting there. This naturally freaked me out. I hadn’t unpacked, and I didn’t own a pair of old green dress pants. There was also no way I wouldn’t have noticed them the night before while moving in. I didn’t have a ton of stuff and they couldn’t possibly have accidentally traveled up 4 flights of stairs if they had got caught on my foot or something down in the parking lot. I don’t know why I did this, but I took them, wadded them up, opened that tiny door and threw them as far back into that unfinished attic room behind by closet. They landed in the far back corner about 8’ away, and I shut my door and went to work. The next morning I was getting ready for work and I went to the closet and saw that the pants had been pulled halfway out from under the small door. At that point I knew for sure that something was wrong. I threw the pants away in the trash this time in the garbage can outside. Over the next few weeks more things started happening. Stuff would slide across the bathroom counter, electric appliances kept exploding (like a brand new hair dryer) and I got pushed from behind in the living room. One night my friend came over to get her hair cut by my ex. When they were through I swept up all of the hair and I took all the trash out and put the trash can out on the curb. The next morning when I woke up I was leaving my room for work and stopped short because there was a perfectly spherical ball of hair sitting on the floor directly in the middle of the doorway to my room. It looked geometrically almost perfect, and was perfectly aligned with the center of the doorway. This one bothered me the most because I know I had gotten rid of all the hair the night before. This apartment was TINY, I could see the whole thing at all times. I started talking about these experiences to other people at work asking if anyone knew how to get rid of this thing. Most people did not believe me, or made jokes. Someone told me to put pennies on the ledges above every window and door of my place, leave them there for a few days or a week and then burry them, so I placed the pennies and waited. Before I buried them the activity, moving stuff and taps on the wall ramped up. One day something happened (I don’t remember if I got shoved again or heard a knock or what it was exactly) so we decided to get out of the place and smoke to calm down. While outside pacing back and forth my neighbor who we had met while moving in came outside too. I guess she could tell we were shook bc she asked me what was up. At this point I was past caring if anyone thought I was crazy so I told her everything. She seemed to get very excited at this. She said something like “holy shit! I’m a witch so let’s get that fucker out of there!” Again, at this point I was ready to accept any help, even from a drug dealing Wiccan, and even if I didn’t think she knew anything about ghost busting or whatever. She went and got some “supplies” a Wiccan book of some sort, a jar for the pennies, some paper, and met me upstairs in my apartment. She went immediately to the small door in the back of my closet and opened it, she got down on the floor and began mumbling or reading from her book in a very low soft tone. After a while she came out and said “oh yeah he’s pissed.” We collected the pennies and put them in the mason jar she brought. She began writing on her paper (my guess is a binding spell or something not sure what) and put the paper in the jar as well. It was now time to burry the jar. Our building was on 100% concrete and asphalt so we walked across the street to an empty grass lot and I dug a hole. Right before I was about to lid the jar and put it in the hole my neighbor said “hang on,” drew a knife from who knows where, cut her palm, and dripped some drops of blood onto the paper and pennies in the jar. That most definitely surprised and shocked me. I was not expecting that in the least and she did it so damn fast I barely had time to react. What happened next I would not believe if you were telling me this story, but I swear that this happened, and my ex saw it too. When the drops of blood hit the coins and paper, the jar started filling with thick white smoke. At first I thought she may have dropped something else in there too like a match or the cherry off a cigarette, but there was no time for that. This happened instantly, and her reaction told me she was not expecting this at all either. She screamed “what the fuck!?!?!?” And “holy shit!!!” Repeatedly. We all did. This was too much for my brain to compute. I threw the jar in the hole and buried it as fast as I could. We were all speechless. Mind you I thought this wasn’t a “real witch” this was the equivalent of an Etsy witch, except instead of crystals she sold blow. I don’t think she even knew what she was doing given her reaction, but I kid you not, not a single thing ever happened in that apartment ever again while I lived there. We got to know our neighbor pretty well because of that. The building is still standing even with all of the gentrification that’s happening in my city. I still drive by it sometimes. The lot across the street now has multiple tall apartment buildings on it now. I wonder if they found the jar when they were grading the ground for it. Thank you so much for reading.

Possible Directional Response with Dowsing Rods

These are dowsing rods dated back as early as the 16th century by miners to locate lost bodies of water. They are L shaped copper rods that move freely. This was a directional response we had gotten the first time ever using this new pair! 👻🍑

Right/Center-Right

16yrs ago I was living in a house that had some really weird energy. The room I lived in was above the garage and was converted from a storage space into an additional bedroom. One night I woke up and saw what looked like a little blonde girl in a white dress running at me from the corner of the room. My scream scared my roommate who came running in with a weapon. I always felt really uncomfortable there.
Fast forward to today and I’m looking through old pictures that I had taken on my iPhone right when they added the panoramic feature. I remember laying in my bed that afternoon and taking this photo. The only furniture i had was my bed, a table next to it, a small table next to the door, and a gray storage bin. As I was looking at this going down memory lane I noticed for the first time something else in the picture and I can’t tell what it is, but I immediately got chills and my heart sank. Hoping someone/some folks could look at this and let me know what you think.

Friend might have something "attached" to him-- looking for advice.

I'll try to give a thorough explanation and a TLDR at the end too.

For context, I am a Neo-Pagan and my friend is LDS.

My friend recently went to a haunted museum, and I'm a firm believer in the fact that words carry energy and I don't want to share too many details, but he experienced many physical side effects (feeling cold, headaches in certain rooms or around certain objects, ears ringing, anger) during his time there and ONLY reacted to objects related to the Jewish religion and Nazi artifacts and symbolism. He's never had a fear or problem with either of these groups specifically (obviously he believes that Nazis were bad [duh] and as an LDS person he doesn't agree with the Jewish religion, but nothing more than that).

That night, he slept very heavily-- he said he went straight to bed when he got home which was unusual for him and he said he felt EXTREMELY tired. The next day, the exhaustion persisted, and he had a really bad day supposedly, and then took a nap (which he claimed was also unusual) and he had a nightmare. He said that the nightmare felt like he was seeing visions of "things he wasn't meant to see" and he remembered the entire thing vividly after he woke up. He says he isn't prone to nightmares and has never felt this way.

He called my partner about the issue right after, and my partner knows I'm a bit more familiar about this stuff, so he handed the phone to me, which is when he told me about all of this.

We were supposed to see him right after the call, which was last night, but he said he was just too tired and he had work today, so he went to bed. Today, he went to work, and then he went on an offroading trip with a coworker. I mentioned to my partner that it didn't seem like a good idea, especially if our friend does actually have something paranormal, spiritual, or generally negative attached to or effecting him. That kind of stuff brings back luck, in my opinion.

Like I expected, while he was out, his relatively new tire on his truck popped. He was just driving over sand, dirt, and rocks, so there wasn't much that could've popped his tire. He HAD to drive back on his rim, towed by his coworker, and his rim is DESTROYED. I don't have a photo but I saw what happened to it-- there's literally chunks of it missing in strange places. Just from driving over dirt. He's currently driving back, but he probably won't be back for a while.

He believes that some sort of Nazi spirit has attached itself to him. If this is true, what can be done to help him? Is there anything I, as a metaphysical believer and practicer, can do?

I made him a protective spelljar but have yet to give it to him. I suggested he reach out to his church's spiritual leaders for prayer and safety, and carry his cross necklace with him. I told him that if anything is attached to him, it is only as powerful as the power he gives to it.

I also suggested a tarot card to see if we can learn anything about whatever could be attached to him (not to invite anything to speak or have space, I know that that's bad). All I have other than that is smoke cleansing, Palo Santo spray, and selenite, but I'm willing to invest in other materials for a ritual if there is one I can do.

If it's not something spiritual, negative, or demonic, and he's just having an adverse reaction to Jewish or Nazi memorabilia... does anyone have any other advice?

TLDR; friend visited a haunted museum and believes he has a Nazi spirit attached to him. What should we do about it?

Haunted or hoax

The Smurl Haunting was talked about for years, even made the news, but was it haunted or just a hoax? What’s your thoughts?

Help me with an image. I’m confused?

What could this be? An error or camera defect of some sort? I took a picture of my dog in 2023, noticed a blob behind the couch, where he was laying on the ground, and this was up high. I cropped the image and did some editing.
