Sennheiser HD550 & ie200 are just fantastic to my ears.

I upgraded recently from the HD560s as I heard a striking difference with the 550, better midrange and treble by around 30% and a tighter more precise step up in the Base/sub- base region, about a 10% upgrade over the 560s, there is still a little of that dry texture in the treble but still a large improvement. They work well with my pairings, LGV30+ as a Dap, and Muse Hifi M3 Ultra tubes Dac.

The ie200 work really well with the same pairing, but more enjoyable pairing for me is with the iFi Hip Dac 3 with the Bass boost.

Has anyone out there got some great portable pairings for these?

So I do use the qudelix 5k on a daily basis and I thought that was small, well no the ibasso macaron is even smaller and has even more power :>
I kinda prefer the macaron more than the Q5K with filters and custom peq, am I normal?
The sound is fuller and gives a nice addition to the bright Acoustunes
