How we all holding up? I've really been missing them this last week or so, but I'm trying to remember that we shouldn't be sad it's over. We should be happy it happened 🩷🍂

So I’m curious about something, I love the show Heartstopper so much.I love romance no matter what and I don’t care about gender.I’m a straight woman and I support the LGBTQ+ cause love is love no matter what gender and pronouns.Love doesn’t have a gender, it has happiness, feeling comfortable and safe with who ever you are with

But I just wanna know if the show offended any of you guys cause I think I’ve heard some people it did somehow but I’m not sure why, I think the show is beautiful, it’s full of bunch of happiness and that’s what I love watching.

Scene: New X-men and Avengers in a battle for the fate of the planet.

In the middle of the chaos, Wiccan and Cyclops run into each other for the first time and fight together for a bit.

After they beat off a wave, in a moment of peace the look at each other.

I feel like he's meant to be a likeable character (at least, he seems pretty popular on here) but I really didn't get a good first impression of him.

It's largely the way he ran the study sessions. We didn't have anything like that when I was doing my GCSEs, and I would have thought that whole set-up would really make it hard for me to study. Very often, people revise better when they're with friends, and allowed to ask each other questions and prepare flashcards for each other and so on. I remember study sessions being quite chill, where we were allowed to work on pretty much whatever we wanted as long as we weren't distracting each other, and could chat openly with friends as long as it was about the work. (I remember one girl saying that the way she remembered that the cathode is negative is because she knew someone called Cathy who was quite strict - and that's stayed with me forever!)

The way Mr Farouk ran it was so oppressive, it almost felt like the whole year group was in detention. Nick was forced to sit next to someone he really didn't like (okay, to be fair I suppose it was on Nick to ask if he could sit somewhere else, but it wasn't really an atmosphere where you'd feel you could make a request like that). And then, when Nick and Ben had an argument Mr Farouk immediately put them in detention (together) when anyone could see that they weren't comfortable with each other and that the problem would be immediately solved by putting them on opposite sides of the room.

I get that the idea is that he starts off cold and no-nonsense as a result of having been in the closet so long, and then becomes softer when he falls in love with Mr Ajayi... but to me it just didn't quite work. When it became obvious they were going to become a couple, my reaction was, 'But I don't really get what Mr Ajayi sees in him, he's not very nice.' I really struggle to have much sympathy with teachers who make kids' lives miserable, even if it's because they're miserable themselves.

Am I the only one? Maybe he's nicer in the comics.

I love Heartstopper Forever. I thought it was great and that Alice did an incredible job working the Heartstopper and Nick & Charlie storylines. I honestly don’t really have any other complaints, but with every rewatch (and there have been, frankly, an embarrassing amount 😉) I get more and more irrationally bothered by Sarah delivering this line at her birthday party. Just makes me cringe so hard for some reason.

I realize how unimportant this is and feel free to mock me, but I wanted to put it out there and see if there is anyone else..?

(Kind of feel similarly about “silly silly boy” if I’m being honest).

This is my take on what would have happened after the movie. After Nick is settled in Uni and Charlie on his final year at school

At first Nick and Charlie will be constantly calling, face timing , texting, sexting each other
As the time goes, Charlie gets busy with his A levels, Uni applications and Nick’s first year Uni gets tough with Rugby, classes. Phones calls gets missed

Nick finally finds himself. He knows what he likes, learns how to express his feelings more openly. Gets a lot of friends. Gets distracted with parties with them along with the Uni stuff.

Charlie misses Nick a lot. Slowly they start talking less and less. Visits get reduced. They start to grow apart.

Charlie’s finishes school and joins Cambridge. They promise to visit each other more but both theirs Uni stuff get in the way.

One day they get into an argument about missed visits and lack of communication.

Since they both know this was coming, they mutually breakup. They slowly move on

At first Charlie is really heartbroken and throws himself in lot of activities. Joins a band, work in a cafe having hardly any time for himself so he can think less. Hardly dates since he can’t get past Nick.

Nick has a little bit of slag era (just my imagination)

Time moves on. Nick finished Uni to become a primary teacher and a rugby coach for toddlers and Charlie become and editor in a publishing company

They think about each other from time to time

They finally meet in London where both of them work but never met. Both decided to stay in contact. They stay in touch from then on. Meet often.

They both realise how much they still care deeply of each other and decided to try dating. Inseparable from them on. Charlie says “I’m so glad none of the others you met did end up to be your person” nick says “I feel like I am finally home”

After few years of dating, they get married.

This is my imagination on what would happen.
