These two were the definition of "when 2 different worlds collide" for me from the first glance! ☯️💜🌈

I am sure I am not the only one thinking about this. It is so beautiful to see their differences; Charlie has blue-greyish eyes and Nick hazel, Nick has freckles and Charlie doesn't, Nick has strawberry blonde straight hair and Charlie black and curly... Just so refreshing and magical to see two completely different separate universes love each other so much. They complement each other so well... 🥰

I miss Olivia 🥺🥹 sooo much BUT they really couldn't have possibly picked a better actress to take her place! Anna has that warm look in her eyes just like Olivia plus similar face features and a smile. 😊

I didn't expect her to put contact lenses but was at least kinda hoping that she will have the same colour hair and length but oh well, it worked out very well imo. What do you think? 🥰

Hot take

I never understood the codependency allegations. I myself am a bit of a clingy person but I can’t recall anything straight up codependent from Nick and Charlie. The argument I imagine people use is they hangout a lot but that’s not unusual for high schoolers to me. I wouldn’t say either of them is unable to function with the other. Clearly there’s something going on with it since the writers felt the need to touch on it with the movie but in my eyes they’ve always had a pretty normal high school relationship. What do you guys think?

I think we should talk about this peculiar friendship more. I am so glad these two became such good friends after being enemies. . 🥰

It was so beautiful watching their connection bloom during series but especially in this movie scene where they're both emotional and talk about love. Just amazing. They're good friends in real life as well I believe, which makes it even cuter imo. 😊🥹

How was Harry in “cheer” outfit a redemption (text)

Heard ppl mention that before but how the hell does that mean he got a tiny blurb of a redemption. Like i know its oh he did that for the powderpuff event thing. But if Harry wore some “girl” outfit(ballet girl outfit or girl gymnastics leotard) for the powerpuff game with other guy athletes, I guess Harry can toss out giggles from ppl “Im in a leotard….so what….im not gay…..u got a problem with it”. I guess at least thats my headcanon

Were we robbed of a Harry arch?

In season 2 we see the rugby team get more character development especially on the Paris trip. Even Harry seemed to be softening as he stands up for Imogene after Ben tried to embarrass her at dinner. It’s been years since I’ve watched the series and I honestly thought he wanna gonna fully chill out and become something of an ally for Nick and Charlie’s friend group. Obviously that did not happen but I have to admit I would’ve loved to see this. Then again Charlie slamming the door in his face was satisfying as well. But what do you guys think? Was Harry able to be redeemed?

Nick and Charlie : My take on the after

This is my take on what would have happened after the movie. After Nick is settled in Uni and Charlie on his final year at school

At first Nick and Charlie will be constantly calling, face timing , texting, sexting each other
As the time goes, Charlie gets busy with his A levels, Uni applications and Nick’s first year Uni gets tough with Rugby, classes. Phones calls gets missed

Nick finally finds himself. He knows what he likes, learns how to express his feelings more openly. Gets a lot of friends. Gets distracted with parties with them along with the Uni stuff.

Charlie misses Nick a lot. Slowly they start talking less and less. Visits get reduced. They start to grow apart.

Charlie’s finishes school and joins Cambridge. They promise to visit each other more but both theirs Uni stuff get in the way.

One day they get into an argument about missed visits and lack of communication.

Since they both know this was coming, they mutually breakup. They slowly move on

At first Charlie is really heartbroken and throws himself in lot of activities. Joins a band, work in a cafe having hardly any time for himself so he can think less. Hardly dates since he can’t get past Nick.

Nick has a little bit of slag era (just my imagination)

Time moves on. Nick finished Uni to become a primary teacher and a rugby coach for toddlers and Charlie become and editor in a publishing company

They think about each other from time to time

They finally meet in London where both of them work but never met. Both decided to stay in contact. They stay in touch from then on. Meet often.

They both realise how much they still care deeply of each other and decided to try dating. Inseparable from them on. Charlie says “I’m so glad none of the others you met did end up to be your person” nick says “I feel like I am finally home”

After few years of dating, they get married.

This is my imagination on what would happen.

Love to hear other thoughts.

I wish that the movie was based more on the volume than the novella.

I have no problem with the movie, I like it, I thought it was really nice. But it would've been much better if it were more influenced by the comic rather than the N+C novella. I guess it's too late now. Good movie, though.

Moment of Joy

Painting of Elle Argent from Heartstopper. I especially love the color theory and lighting that's present throughout the series, and I wanted to capture Elle in a moment of joy.

I thought the finale film was such a beautiful culmination of the characters’ journeys, and I loved seeing Elle succeed and pursue her fine art dreams, even if it was only a small glimpse of her part of the story. I like to think we’d see the same expression light up her face if she could see her future self now.

Will they or have they made a dvd version?

Hello! I collect DVDs and i REALLY want heartstopper…..the issue is I can’t find it anywhere and it so sad I would love to own it especially because of the rampant homophobia nowadays I don’t want it to get taken off of Netflix never to be seen again 😔 anyone know anything!!!

Nick and Charlie are now both in the MCU!

Obviously not their characters, lol, but Kit was just casted as Cyclops in the upcoming X-men movie, and Joe was in Agatha All Along. Just something cute I noticed as a Marvel and Heartstopper fan :D [Even cuter since Nick loves Marvel ❤️]

My sad admission

Die hard fan. Literally and physically surrounded by Heartstopper.

I stopped counting views. Heated Rivalry and Charmed are the two competing shows for views.

I still haven't watched Forever...its for the most selfish reason, I don't want it to be over.

Post Kit being a possible Marvel Xmen (waiting until Marvel fitness coaches get him) I can't ignore or it.

Read the last Volume as it was being released, so it's fuzzy. I can search these subs for info on "read or dont" whatever. I want overall going into this...NOT WHY, but as fans are we happy with the ending yes or no?
