Growing lights

It’s only recently, that I have realized the time and research that is needed to actually choose the right growing lights for my small indoor growing space, which I am planning to start very soon. I have been doing some rounds online, and I have seen quite a variety on Alibaba and Amazon, and there are so many different options in light spectrums. I don’t know which growing light will be good for a small indoor setting. Could anyone share his/her experience when making their purchase decision and which growing light did you go for, preferably in an indoor setting scenario? I would appreciate.

Help! Good? Bad? Ugly? She feels small for sprouting July 1st

Trying my best with the resources/funds available just feel like she’s small for a little over a month. For idea of timeframe, they sprouted first true leaves July 1st. I know she will stretch over coming days as I just switched her to flower. She’s in a 1gal as I’m definetly not aiming for a massive yield, just for fun but I want it to at least come out smokable. Only water fed, fox farms soil with 3:1 perlite mixture. Have yet to runoff water as I’m terrified of an over water, what can I improve?

Spotted leaves... what's wrong with my plant?

The lowest leaves are completely yellow and dry... I've now fertilized the soil completely. She is about 45 days old.

Jordan Of The Islands is a seed-scam company now. Steer clear.

Hey everyone,

I know I'm late to be posting this considering the grow season is well under way for 2026, but I just want to warn people to steer clear of Jordan of The Islands when purchasing seeds in the future. Things have changed and it's not even remotely a trustworthy company anymore. I'm an honest, sincere person so I'm not out to destroy anyone's reputation, I just want to bring awareness to as many people as possible that JOTI isn't the same anymore and you are likely to lose money or waste time growing hermaphrodites if you purchase from them.

My experience with JOTI (which has pushed me to post this) is that I received 20 seeds that I ordered plus 17 freebies. All 20 emerged from the soil. 100% success rate. And then they all died before revealing their true leaves. I didn't start them all at the same time. I only started 4 at a time and then watched them all slowly die. I started all 17 of the freebies and in the end only one lived (it was a female, so lucky me). I came here to see what others were saying and it turns out there are numerous people who experienced the same issue.
Quick background on me; I've been growing since 2000. I've started hundreds of seeds. I was a clone guy for years and I bought new seeds for 8 different strains every January to get my mom's. I do know what I'm doing so this isn't some rookie mistake or something.
Anyway, the latest gigantic red flag is that someone is claiming to be Jordan himself and sending out emails to all of the people like myself who complained about bunk seeds and asked for replacements. I also said that I would do my best to spread the word on the terrible customer service and the terrible seeds being sold from them now so I'm sure this is the real reason I received the email. The person claiming to be Jordan says he has no viable stock left to compensate those of us who got shitty seeds and yet you can go to the website right now and order any strain of any quantity. Every strain is still available and yet emails are being sent out to people who complained about shit seeds claiming that as soon as viable seeds are available he's going to double what people ordered PLUS give a full cash refund. Why does the website have every strain available and yet those of us who got shit seeds can't get replacements until new stock is available? It's all bullshit, that's why. JORDAN OF THE ISLANDS IS A WEED SEED SCAM COMPANY NOW. It's sad but it's true.
