How often do stores in the US receive QB shipments?

Is there a specific time of the year when the stores in the US receive their bag allocations or are shipments from France with QBs happen continuously throughout the year?

Question

Hi everyone! I’m still kinda new to the whole Hermès world and honestly still trying to understand the “Hermès game,” so I’d love to hear your opinions and experiences.
I recently got offered my very first bag from Hermès, and it was a Constance 18 in I got it in a seasonal mauve-rose tone (RMS). I ended up purchasing it because I genuinely loved the color and the bag itself, but now I’m wondering if accepting a Constance as my first offer was a good move strategically or not.
I’ve read so many different things online — some people say taking non-B/K quota bags helps build the relationship, while others say it doesn’t necessarily impact future offers much. Since I’m still learning how all of this works, I’m curious what you all think.
Would you consider this a strong first offer? And do you think accepting it helps positively in the long run if I eventually hope for a Kelly or Birkin someday?
Thank you! :)

Messenger in barenia. Travel perfect.

Love this bag and leather. Perfect travel crossbody. The scuffs truly just rub out. 💚

The angle of the photo makes it appear a bit larger than it really is.

Age to use Hermès bags

I have a serious question. In my quest to find my dream handbag, I've been to the store several times and seen the Mini Kelly bag. At first, I thought they were ridiculous, but now I'm starting to like them.

On the other hand, I don't think a Birkin 25 would suit me as well because I find it uncomfortable to put my arm in; I don't think my wrist would fit in there.

I'm wondering if they'd look good on a 5o very something-old like me. Do you know any mature influencers whose small handbags I could look at?

New to the game and quite lost

Hi, I'm new to the Hermès game and I've read a lot here and on Purse Bop. I have to say I've done everything wrong. I've bought a lot, around €40,000 worth, at the Monaco store, but with different sales women, and different accounts, me and my husband, and now I see it's only we have to work with one.

I just want a Kelly or Birkin 30, gold-and-gold one, or a box leather bag in black.

My husband and I live in Miami and used to go to the Design District, but the salespeople there are very unfriendly.

That's why, now that we've been to Monaco and are still here for all the car events, we'd like to see if we have the bag I want. I didn't know this was a game; it's making me anxious, to be honest. We also travel to Paris a lot, and I wanted to know if they can see my Monaco purchases? Since they are different countries and finally offer me the bag...

In Mónaco finally they offered me a horrible handbag that cost 9,000 euros and more, one that looks like a dumpling, my husband almost bought it just to make me happy. And it made me want to cry. I saw the most amazing bags I ever seen in that store, metallic ones, croc etc etc, also if you can help me how can I get a metallic bag?

On the other hand, I'm so happy with my husband, who loves me so much and won't give up until he gets that bag. I'm afraid it won't happen. We went to Chanel, and he bought me a beautiful bag, a Classic Flap, and several other things, and all the staff treated us incredibly well.

Hermes US Wishlist System to roll out this week?

My SA told me this week that U.S. boutiques are supposedly moving to a more formal wishlist system starting this week. From what she explained, clients would only be able to request one bag with up to three color combo options, and the current two bag per year limit would still stay the same.

She said the main difference is that wishlist requests would now be attached to a client’s actual profile and visible to any Hermes employee instead of just living in private SA notes. Supposedly this would help stores keep track of clients waiting for specific combinations when inventory comes in, and maybe even help management see who’s waiting for what before making allocations. I’m curious if anyone else has heard more about this or if people think it’ll actually change much in reality. My first thought was that it could mainly help clients who don’t shop super frequently or aren’t always top of mind for their SA.
