Help me identify please

Hello Friends, I found these and I am trying to figure out what they are from. I am asking here because Google comes up with heroclix sometimes showing these. However the writing doesn't seem to say heroclix. Can anyone help me out?

Thinking of coming back to Heroclix but I had some oddball questions

So, I quit Heroclix around 5 years ago. The things I disliked about it were that it was a pay to win game, if you didn't play casually. So, that's what I did. I stopped blind buying boosters and just bought the pieces I liked and just played casual games with friends.

The other main issue I had with Heroclix was the powers displayed on the dial and how you lost/gained powers down the dial. I know it's just the mechanics of it and it was a representation of that characters multitude of powers/abilities they had, but it felt weird for me that The Flash (well, some of his figures) didn't have superspeed throughout his dial.

I looked at a couple other games like MCP, but I dislike the combat mechanics and dice. It's a very objective game and I found the game to be very "meh"

I looked at a couple rpg's, but they were either too complicated and time consuming (Champions, GURPs) or just too swingy/gamey (old Marvel TSR game and the new Marvel Multiverse rpg(

So, my question here to the Clix community is an odd one....

Has anyone house ruled Heroclix at all to make it more of a tabletop skirmish game instead of an alpha strike min/max game?

Has anyone created some house rules to make things a little more interesting? Added another dice roll for damage, or maybe some other little mechanism to add a little more depth?

Or am I delusional here and should just find another game to play? 😄

Appreciate any comments/suggestions/knowledge

First time playing since original series

Hey everyone, we were looking for something different to try at my local hobby shop. (taking a break from Warhammer)

We landed on heroclix. I've sort of been put in charge of learning the game and being somewhat of an organizer for the community who want to play at the store.

I picked up biyh DC and marvel starter sets.

Seems a lot has changed from what I remember. (the models look so much better)

Had a few questions I was hoping to get some answers on.

  1. The current printed rules in these starter sets, how recent are they and how far back do they apply. How often do you see rules change?

  2. Are there official rules printed anywhere other than what's in these starter sets. I find that they aren't very well explained (but to be fair I've only read them once)... It seems like there is information left out or not explained to accurately.

  3. A question that came up was balance concern between marvel and DC sets... Are they relatively balanced for integrated play?

  4. How do you determine what is considered obsolete in terms of sets/models

  5. I noticed cards came with the starter set which are helpful. Don't remember the original sets having these. Do the booster boxes come with these for your new characters as well?

Thanks!

Garage sale finds

Found these at a garage sale, I love marvel and thought these were too cheap to pass on! What’s it worth and does anyone have interest in these? Are they limited edition like the box says?

Infinity War Campaign!

Yesterday I, along with all of my friends that play Heroclix and my Dad, played the biggest and most unique game of Heroclix of my 24 year Clix career. We did a (pretty close to) 4500 vs 4500 campaign style game of Thanos vs various teams from the multiverse!

Each dial of colossal Thanos was supported with 2 “lackeys” and played against one of the various teams. Each time a dial was defeated, a new map and new team went up against the next dial and any remaining lackeys. It was awesome! The multiverse teams in order of the fight were Avengers, JLA, Xmen, Lanterns, and Cosmic. Thanos started off very strong but the Xmen and Lanterns team had excellent rolls and were able to overpower Thanos. We didn’t make it to the cosmic team.

It was a really unique way to play as all of us were controlling both the multiverse teams and Thanos teams. Truly an awesome Clix experience, we had a blast!

Sales and Venom,

Hello!

Today there are two sales that have started on our website that include HeroClix products. Our big Epic Finds Event will run for two weeks and has plenty of booster bricks available for great deals. Additionally because this Friday, May 22nd is the birthday of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the writer best known as the creator of Sherlock Holmes, we have put the WizKids HeroClix Iconix: Sherlock Holmes set on a special sale just for this week!

We also asked our players a question about the Marvel HeroClix: Venom set, since it has been out for a little while. What's the most ridiculous team you've run that has included a Venom character?

Thanks!

New player here. Where can I buy stuff in Europe ?

Hey, I learned about this game today and it seems like something I might be interested in.

What shops are there in Europe ? I think I would prefer to have a collection of 10+ for marvel and DC and play with friends casually for a start. I searched online but shops in UK and US have 15€ shipping minimum. Also any way to print maps ?

Scenarios good for solo

Hi I don’t have any friends intreresred in playing HC, so I am on the search for some products that come with scenarios or maybe a campaign, perhaps something like a boss-fight where i can have a team tackle different missions or fight larger bosses. I found Avengers vs Masters of evil box comes with some scenarios. Any recommendations or just generally any cool characters that are high in points that I can have a team tackle would be awesome (I like the idea of 1 big boss vs a squad of a few models to see who would win)
Thank you!

Does this trait allow the worlds finest to avoid damage from an attack? In other words, are attacks consider effects?

The BattleBox! 3D printed Heroclix Team Carrier Solution

Here’s my take on a 3D printed Heroclix team carrier. I’m proud to say this is the FIRST downloadable file designed specifically Heroclix! The design is intentionally streamlined to keep printing costs as low as possible while still maximizing functionality. Coming from TCGs, my goal was to create a Heroclix’s “deck box”

This version uses magnetically receptive trays that are fully compatible with my magnetic ID rings. I designed it for two main reasons:

First, I LOVE playing with colossal figures and wanted a box that could safely carry them along with their accessories.

Second, I also LOVE building Silver Age teams — which can mean bringing a LOT of figures — so I wanted a single carrier capable of handling massive team builds. This design does both ✅

The BattleBox also includes:

A map tray that holds up to 3 modern maps, plus a PAC and terrainAn accessory tray for toploaders, terrain, dice, and action tokens
Like my previous designs, I also included a Tomohawk tray to make use of the empty space surrounding colossal figures. Each standard tray holds up to 20 standard-sized figures, while the Tomohawk tray holds up to 13 more, for a total of 33 figures.

And if you’re not as obsessed with colossals as I am, the box can instead fit 3 regular trays for a maximum capacity of 60 standard-sized figures in a single carrier.

Please note: this is an XL-sized print and requires a large print bed. This version was printed on the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.

Now available on my Etsy store :)

As always, thank you for the support!

The Venom collection is now available on Heroclix Project, on Tabletop Simulator.

Hey guys, I have frequently suggested this project as a way for some of us to play Heroclix at home. They have recently made this post on Facebook announcing that they are up to date with the Venom set. If you already have table top simulator this is a fantastic always to get into the action

Tired of terrain that doesn't fit? Check out this 1.5" Grid-Perfect NYC Block!

Hey guys! Jorge here from Planeta Primate.

Like many of you, I was fed up with generic buildings that looked cool but were a nightmare to fit on a standard HeroClix map. So, I decided to design my own NYC Apartment Block from a player’s perspective.

I’ve just finished test-printing it on my Elegoo Mars 5 and the detail is insane (though it’s also fully optimized for FDM/Neptune 4!).

What makes it different?

  • True 1.5" Scale: Designed specifically for the standard grid and dial bases.
  • Game-Ready: Perfect for 'Blocking' and 'Elevated' terrain tactics.
  • High-Res / Low-Weight: I've optimized the file to just 65MB, so you get crisp brick textures without crashing your slicer.

It’s available now on Cults3D for just $5. If you’re looking to bring some real Brooklyn/Manhattan vibes to your next tournament or casual game, give it a look!

I'd love to see your paint jobs, so please share your prints!

What’s the basic accepted strat for team building?

Mostly play casual but am getting interested in competitive play. Other then just buying the absolute best pieces or coping some team you’ve seen at a tourney, what’s the best way to go about building a team?

Is there best practices number of figures you want on your team? Any powers that need to be favored or can’t live without? What’s the step by step break down of picking your pieces?
