Been producing for about 6 months, mainly using an MPC One and Ableton.

I got stuck making endless loops for a while, but recently I’ve been putting acapellas over my beats and learning how to actually build them into full tracks.

My influences range from 90s boom bap through to more modern stuff like RTJ and Czarface, but I’m happy to work with any ideas or styles you’ve already got going too.

I’m still learning and definitely not polished, but keen to improve and want to start working with an actual MC.

I love hip hop. I HATE what it’s become. I don’t want to see a beat inspired by Future or The Migos. I am tired of the mediocrity it allows. Out of hundreds of people I’ve networked with, exactly FOUR have or do make the instrumentals I’m looking for.

I want to get some instrumentals from someone who loves hip hop, but also grew up on some Bob Dylan. Loved Nirvana. Thought Linkin Park was killing it with how they blended elements. Someone whose personal playlist can range from The Beatles, to Blink 182, from Tech N9ne to Mac Miller, from Metallica to Taylor Swift, From Eminem to Teddy Swims, hell….: from Kid N Play to Kid Cudi.

I need the hip hop beats that are guitar heavy. Can be sung over. Swapping crisp 808s for acoustic drums. Less snare, more keys. Breaks molds.

The person who is making a hip hop beat after going on an hour long binge listen of Pink Floyd.

Does that producer exist? Where might one find them???

The beat is lightly mastered but if you wanted to release anything I’d just ask that it was professionally mastered once your Voice / Ad libs were in place and the track as a whole was finished.

I’m building a new web-based platform for hip-hop artists and I’m looking for 5–7 producers interested in being part of the initial launch.

I’m looking for a small selection of beats from each producer for use within the platform only. You keep 100% ownership and can continue selling/licensing your beats normally. If an artist wants to use your music commercially outside the platform, they still need to purchase the appropriate license from you.

Every beat will be properly credited and linked directly back to the producer, and I’m also looking at offering members a discount with participating producers to help drive people into their full catalogues.

I’m intentionally keeping the producer roster small — aiming for around 30–50 quality beats total for launch rather than thousands of tracks where everyone gets buried.

The platform is already being built and I’m happy to show more privately if there’s a fit.
