Hello, I just recently joined the game 3 weeks ago and loving it, having played pokemon for a bit. It was a really fun experience.

Recently I finished building a NoelxGen3 deck that focuses heavily on rushing the opponent as fast as possible, having playtested it for a while and being satisfied with it. I am now looking into building more decks which is where this post comes in.

I played a ton of CFV (Cardfight Vanguard) a TCG that relies heavily on probability and odds before this game, and in CFV, to win games consistently, you must try to make sure that said odds and probability goes in your favor, either through deck filtering or readying your board by turn 3 (The game is just pretty fast), which finally brings the question of what archetype or decks that give back that feeling? where the main gameplan is to push he probability scale in your favor as fast as possible? willing to experiment.

I have an IRyS deck that will be substantially altered when that set comes out, I just don't know when it is.

Hi team, our store has just recently had enough people to start running events. We don't get much stock in and I pulled Baelz OSR so I imagine I will be the only Baelz player at the store and would suck not to get the matching mat. I dont think anybody has a ton of experience outside of kitchen table and ive played a bunch of pokemon before. At this stage my options for ayakashi entry cup are Korone, Baelz or Hoshinova. I expect at least one person to be on green so I figure Korone is good for the new green critical 2nd but I just dont know. Any help would be super appreciated thank you 🙏

I don't see an option to create a poll, but I was wondering how many people here just collect rare cards, vs. just play, or if we have a majority who do both? I see a lot of pull posts, where as I don't buy boxes at all, I just get the cards I need from those who want to get rid of extra cards.

I bought one box of Blooming Radiance (English version), just to see how the cards look like (and maybe try to get my favorite girls). The basic set has 130 cards. When i saw how many parallels there is, it was sure i could never collect it whole. But i still think i could get the 130 cards of whatever variant.

Is it worth to and not too expensive to finnish basic set? Do japanese cards cost less?

Also if someone can recommend site/place where to buy/sell/trade single cards in EU, that would be great, cause my place only sell boxes and booster packs.

I will be honest, I didn't look to see if there was any beginner resources here.

I have a few questions:

1. What's the best way to find a local of some kind? I know Mandai and WotC have apps to find the nearest local but does cover?

2a. I'm not looking to build a meta deck, but of someone I enjoy. I assume it's just easier to buy the cards instead of pulling for them. If that's the case, best spot to look at builds? I use EXBurst for a few of mine.

2b. Is TCGplayer really my best option for buying them?

3. How creative can you get with deck building? I really like doing things that non meta decks for any old tcg do. They may not win most of the time, but I'm looking for fun

Hi, I recently opened a JP box of Set 5, and got 1 UR/1 SR/ 1 S / 4 RR. I read somewhere that the box with the case hit would also include 1 OSR. Is this incorrect or did I just get unlucky?
