Any dining tables found at HomeGoods/Homesense?

I’ve found some incredible wood pieces at Homegoods that is real mango wood and got a beautiful entryway console that is solid mango wood. Ive learned it’s cheaply made in India and that’s why it’s found often at HomeGoods/marshalls/TJmaxx.

My question is, do dining tables show up at HomeGoods or homesense often, or rarely, or at all? I’ve gone to HomeGoods plenty of times in the last couple months and I always see great couches, counter stools, and side tables but I don’t think I’ve seen dining tables. I’m looking for a 60x30 inch dining table so it wouldn’t be enormous but maybe they’re just too large to hold on the sales floors?

thanks for any insights!

Shopper buys 5+ carts full every few days. Cash.

So there's this lady, and she's nasty, who comes shopping regularly at our store. She fills up (stacked high) multiple carts every few days. She sings and laughs to herself while she's shopping, but very nasty with customers and staff if they don't move quickly enough for her. She demands everything be put into separate shopping bags, and the worst of it is that she is loud, and yells at people calling them STUPID IDIOTS. Just yesterday she bought 10 full carts, left them all in the building to pick them up later. She returned and could only get 5 carts worth in her car, so she came back an hour before closing to take away the rest of the haul and immediately filled up two more shopping carts and 7 carpets. $5,000. Cash.

This lady is dressed like a mess, by the way for anyone who needs a visual. She's got her belly hanging out, her skinny arms and legs dangle about everywhere when she's screaming at people to MOVE!! Her hair is a sweaty bleached blonde, short, choppy mess that's stuck to her forehead.

I don't know much about her except for her first name: Lexy. She is an absolute menace, bumping towering carts into everything as she goes, making customers and staff upset. We actually had another young lady in tears from this woman yelling at her for assuming the purse left in one of multiple abandoned carts was that of a missing person.

Is there a cut-off? She's clearly suffering from a mental illness, right? Does anyone else have this level of crazy come through their store on the regular? I need answers!

Question on damaged item already purchased

I recently moved and unfortunately the closest HG is 45 minutes away (previously it was 5 minutes from my house). With that move, I’ve needed to decorate/get essentials for my new place. I purchased a box of 12 drinking glasses, get them home, and of course one of the glasses is broken.

Since the store is so far away, it’s not easy to just pop over anymore. I went yesterday and brought the original box, the one broken glass (we are currently using the other glasses), and the receipt with me. I was hoping that they would have the same set and I would be able to get a non-broken glass out of the new set, and the store would mark down that box to “as is”. The cashier said they wouldn’t do that. Okay, that’s fine (and come to find out afterwards when I was looking around, they didn’t have the same set anymore).

But here’s what I don’t understand- she told me that in order for them to even mark down what I already purchased in order to refund the difference, that I would have to bring back all the other glasses as well. I’m sorry… what? I completely understand needing the broken glass to prove that there was damage, but why would they need to see the non-broken glasses to refund me the difference of what they would have marked it down to if they knew one was broken?

I wouldn’t be as annoyed if I didn’t already drive 45 minutes each way to get this settled, only to be told to go back home and come back for no reason.

Can someone please explain this thought process to me?

I messed up bad my first time on register

today was my first day on register at homegoods. A woman came and said she wanted to do two transactions. she was buying a bag full of a boxed food items. we were making good conversation. I pushed the button for her to pay. she taped the card, then looked in her cart and saw another of that item she wanted in that transaction. At this point, it was on the recipt screen but i didn't realize, i tried to cancel and clicked the x button to go back and add the item because she really wanted it on the same transaction.

I said I dont think it would work to add it, she started getting very upset and yelling at me. I was starting to tear up so I turned around to the manager behind me and he stepped in. I went to the bathroom to stop crying. I came back and they did the two separate transactions. redoing the first one.

Now that Im home, Im realizing that she did pay the first time, and I didnt give her the receipt. I was so panicked being yelled at and I did think I canceled it so I put it in the receipt box below the register. So she left paying twice for that first transaction.

Im freaking out that I messed up this bad and Im thinking about her coming back in after realizing and yelling at me again. I dont know what to tell my manager, I have tomorrow off but I think I should call? Please help i cant sleep.

Same item, different price but employee can’t verify?

I saw a plate that I loved and there were only two, so I decided to get them as serving plates. One of them had a barcode of 6.99. The other had 8.99. Both white tags (not red clearance), but different item numbers so I assume one of them was labeled incorrectly. I went to the register and I asked the lady to scan and see what is the correct price. She told me she couldn’t do that. I asked her to see the IMAGE that pops up when she scans each barcode and see which one matches my plate. She said she cannot see the image. Is this true? She said she can only sell it to me as is, one for 6.99 and one for 8.99. So I bought it and didn’t fight it cause I liked it. But now I’m thinking of returning it cause it doesn’t match my plates like I thought it would. I worry they will scan the barcode and see an image of a different plate pop up. What a mess. Can someone help me understand how this works?

Transferred from different store and I’m shock

So I tranferred from a Marshall x Homegoods store to a Homegoods standalone store. I was a CEC/ Key Carrier. They didn’t have that position available for me so I took EC position in the new store.
Came to this store either any open eyes. And I just don’t know if I was spoiled at my old store or should this be the regular thing.
First, they are usually have 1 cashier for most part of the day. So for that, I had to keep be on the register instead of have time to overlook the performance and helping out. I was taught to delegate tasks as an CEC. My 8 hours shift was usually constant stuck being a cashier.
Second, there are so many tanks that keep getting push out to the Qline and they expect those tanks to be empty. It would totally fine if I have any employees or time to work that.
Third, I was told that I need to be the one who have to call FedEx for salvage pick up and Coke company for drink order. I have worked 2 different combos stores before, TJMaxx/ Homegoods and Marshals/ Homegoods. I always thought the ASM would be responsible for those task
So, I might be a spoiled CEC at my old store until this transfer. I come to work every time and feel overwhelmed cause there are many things I want to work on but I don’t have time or space for it.
