Robot Chicken Crossover Parody vs. MLP Fan Crossover Parody

For those who are probably confused (Or just need a quick refresher) One youtuber by the name ToucanLDM did a MLP fan crossover with HR. which was surprisingly good. but Robot Chicken? One of the most half-assed sketches they've ever produced. Having no joke or punchline. But it gets from bad to worse, considering that they flat out stole the Homestar assets. The creators were never informed, paid, and not even given a special thanks in the credits.

I can't eat that kind of bar because I'm in training! Doesn't Cracker Barrel have any of the other kinds of bars? You know, like energy bars or power bars? Or training bars?

How popular was Homestar outside of the United States?

Not long after I started college in the early 2010s, two other classmates and I were assigned a presentation on an internet fad that was popular in the late 90s. It was a video clip that was emailed to lots of people and eventually referenced by Hollywood in some pre 2000 media.

One of my contributions were some talking points about home grown entertainment and media on the internet before social media, and Homestar was a major talking point.

I’m bringing all this up because one of my group members was from Malaysia and she said she would go on Homestar all the time when she was a girl.

Just wanted to see if people have other experiences that show just how immensely popular, and universal the internet was outside the US and how there was a mono culture on the net before social media.

"I'm entering my flirty 30s!"

30 years ago, the first Homestar Runner book was written. What started with that first book became a whole lot more with the 2000's internet. Happy 30 years of existence, Homestar Runner!
