Top speed for heavy riders on Trail 125?

I weigh about 265. I’m 6’3.

I love everything about the Trail 125, but I’m scared I’m too big for it. There are plenty of threads and comments from bigger riders who seem to say the bike will handle the weight.

But I’m worried about being able to keep up with the flow of traffic on my in-town commute. Can I reliably do 50mph at my weight? Will the bike struggle at that speed?

Thanks!

Amazing ride this weekend.

I’ve traveled all over the country so much but I still feel Pennsylvania is criminally underrated

Can it do highways

Hey guys, recently I’ve really been eyeing a new trail 125. Currently I have a xr150l which has been fine but I’ve not been loving it. I’m really into vintage mopeds and I love the styling of the trail. I have been debating trading in the xr150l for a trail 125 but my only concern is if it’s mildly capable of highways. I know it’s not fast (neither of these bikes are lol) but the xr can still keep up enough to make it work on highways where ppl go 55-60 mph. I am only 150lbs if that helps. I don’t spend that much time on the highway but I want to ask yall what your experience is and if this bike is even at all capable of spending some time on a highway. I also have a sport bike so it’s not my only way to get around lol

Any CT125 Riders in Central California?

Hey everyone! I’m looking for other CT125/Trail 125 riders in Central California.

I’m based around the Bakersfield to Visalia area. I’m interested in everything from backroads and fire roads to camping trips and exploring public land.

If you’re in the area and would be interested in meeting up for a ride sometime, leave a comment or send me a DM. It’d be great to build a small group of Trail 125 riders in Central California!

Got a part time job at the local shopping center sweeping up trash an emptying trash cans. So this is the trash pickup configuration for the ct125.

Help with 1969 telescopic forks

I bought a 1969 CT90 and was wondering if there are differences in the forks between the 1969 and the later models as they need rebuilt and I am having trouble finding info. Any wisdom is appreciated.

What would you say this is worth?

It is a 1974, has 625 miles, all original, all matching vins. Little dusty. Haven’t ever cleaned it. Got it from an estate sale 6 years ago.

Searching in South Bay & Silicon Valley

I'm looking for a K1 CT90 or a CT110 roller, and everything I'm finding in the usual places is either too old or too far away.

Something between Redwood City and Watsonville that rolls and isn't scrap metal is ideal (a title would also be nice, but not necessary)

I started a project that's currently mocked up on an ancient C50 that was on the back of an RV that got rear-ended.
