Planning for a South Indian Circuit (Aug End)

Hi All,
I have been planning this route for a long time and wanted to take all of your opinions and also ask if someone would like to join me on this ride.

Planning for the last week of August —
start on a Friday night, spend Saturday and Sunday in Pondi, and then go on a temple run 🏃 🤣 starting from Thanjavur, Madurai, Dhanushkodi and Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, and finally Kochi, Kannur, and back to Bangalore.

I have already done multiple solo rides from Bangalore in the last few years in the following order: Chikmagalur, Wayanad, Ooty, Hampi, Badami, Kodaikanal, and Yercaud.

Well, this circuit is very close to me, and for this one I want to go with a group of like-minded individuals, mainly for two reasons:
-To have some backup support if needed and be able to help each other.
-I am done with solo riding now 🥲

Since this is a long trip and would need some leaves and stuff, I was thinking that people who are interested in joining (if any, I have no hope in my luck 😪), we can go on a short ride around Bangalore to get to know each other. Then, if our vibes match and the timings work out, we can plan further 😬😬

PS - I am going to repost this in some other communities just to get some engagement, so please don’t be mad if you see the post again. I had to wait so long to get enough karma to post in groups, while getting jealous of people who could cook up plans from Reddit so easily.🙇🏻🥹🥹

I want opinions on CB350 hyness ?

so i am planning to buy my first bike and out of all the options i absolutely love Honda hness but watching soo many videos on this bike i got to know about its tall gearing and this is really making me question it. soo i get it i will have to change a lot gears and probably use first gear for city traffic. but my actual question is does this tall gearing really hamper the ride experience and it will become second nature after some time riding it ?

Added an X47 to my garage. Already have a CB350 H’ness which I absolutely love.

Just added an Ultraviolette X47 to my garage. I already have a CB350 H’ness which I absolutely love and have ordered a Silver Stallion exhaust for. Loving the X47-H’ness combo so far. Thoughts?

How to protect your Hness from rain?

Hi folks,

As rain is already creating havoc on roads,

How are you protecting your bikes,

Do you have rain covers?

Have you lubricated necessary areas?

As for me

I weekly lube the chain to prevent rust.

And for the rest of the areas I have applied transparent nail paint.

Additionally I have sprayed wd40 on the instrument cluster and buttons.

Any additional info and suggestions would be helpful

TIA

Got 46.5 mileage

Covered 243 km today and got this mileage. The ride was mostly on highways, with about 20–30 km of city riding. I maintained 60–80 km/h in 5th gear throughout most of the trip.

Is this mileage good, or is it what you'd normally expect?

Booked my CB350 Hness! Need suggestions/help

So I booked my CB350 Hness in Rebel Red Metallic color. I really wanted the Marshall Green color so bad but well it is what it is.

I checked with 3 BigWing showrooms (2 with accessories 1 only with on-road price) and what surprised me the most is the fact that the cost of accessories varied a lot in those 2 showrooms. This is my first bike and my thinking was that there will be major difference in on-road price but accessories will be at a standard price all over India but one place quoted me 10k while other quoted 13.6k for same accessories.

They said they had 1 in stock and 5 bikes of same color in transit and will reach the godown in 3 days so I went with the one in transit. Overall they have said I can get the bike with number plate in roughly 2-3 weeks.

Firstly tell me the essential. I've planned on getting an ECE certificated helmet, gloves, WD40, lube, chain cleaner, micro fiber cloth, speedometer screen guard and tank cover. Jacket and boots will have to wait can't spend too much right now. Please suggest me good products that you guys are using.

Thinking of doing PPF just on tank and getting that vintage cursive tank badge. Suggest me different sources and what do they cost.

Bar end mirrors will also have to wait for a while but I'd want to know which ones to look out for.

Also if anyone is using silicon spray for engine to make it hydrophobic, how's your experience and should I buy it?

Have I missed out on anything? Do I need any other product?

Eagerly waiting!

I need your opinions

I am planning to buy a Cb350 series bike , now am confused between hness and cb350c , I like the thump and handling of hness meanwhile love the looks and comfort of cb350c.

Now my main requirement is pillion comfort, I will use it for myself 60% single ride 40% with wife . Same mostly in city like 70% rest on state highways. Roads are not good , mostly uneven roads or potholes , even bridges have uneven patches.

Now I need your honest opinion on which should I pick, hness or cb350c . Also what should be the colour, I like the matt dune one as well, but this one is in stock.

Currently I ride an MT15, I am 35y

Is this smoke safe ?

I believe it's rain water getting evaporated but just wanted to be sure, also does the bike sound off ? It's a cold start so the engine runs faster for the first 30-60 sec i feel is it normal ?

Is this fuel efficiency just because of E20, or is there something wrong with my bike?

Hey club! So I got my CB in March. It's at 4.2k kms now, and up until the first 2000 kms, I used to get normal fuel efficiency (37+ on highways, and ~30 in city) even when I would ride with normal aggression(letting a bit of the throttle go every now and then). But ever since the last couple of months, I have been experiencing massive drop in mileage. Now even if I ride super conservatively, constantly in 5th, I get approx 29-30 kmpl. I get less than 24 in city traffic now, which is comparable with a hybrid car. So I checked the instantaneous mileage in my odo, and whenever i give like 50-60% of throttle in 3rd gear, instant mileage drops immediately to <10. But I do not 100% believe this is just due to E20. I have also felt that the engine is a little bit unrefined and some amount of vibrations do get to the handlebars, and it heats up quite quickly as well.

Has anyone else experienced this, and what should I do?

Such a beauty...

1 Month With My Honda H’ness CB350 — Finally Living a Dream I Had Since 2018 ❤️

It’s been one month with this beauty, and I finally wanted to share what this bike means to me.

I still remember the first time I saw the H’ness displayed at a mall back in 2018, just after its launch. I stood there looking at it and thought, “One day, I’m going to own this bike.”

For years, it stayed in my mind as the one bike I genuinely wanted. And last month, after years of waiting, I finally bought it with my own hard-earned money.

That feeling of finally bringing home something you’ve dreamed about for years is difficult to explain.

Now, after one month of ownership, I can confidently say — it has been worth every penny.

The smoothness of the engine, the refinement, the road presence, the looks… everything feels top class. Even after a month, I still turn around and look at it after parking. ❤️

It’s still early for a full ownership review, but so far, I’m absolutely loving every moment with it.

Some dreams take time. This one was worth the wait. ❤️

My Rim got bent

My rim got bent and my highness is 4 years old. Should I completely change my Rim or give it to local shop? Service centre has quoted 8k for the front rim. Is there any other option

Serious QC issues!!

After battery and rust issues, I faced another one. While riding in light rain, the bike bumped on a speed bump and my front mudguard broke, not at the extension part, but the original piece.

It was probably the worst day because all the rainwater totally destroyed my shoes and the lower part of my jeans.s.

I wonder how much might be the most km driven CB350.

Since the CB350 series is a fairly new bike, has anyone reached 1L km yet.

Any reviews, pros, and cons.

Everyone, please comment on what's on your odometer.

My first servicing cost

Hello guys, I did my bike's first service and cost quoted was around 2.6k additionally had back rest installed. Weird thing is when I asked during billing I found out 300 as installation charge for backrest.

Service center name: YMCA Pune Big Wing Honda Service center.

Am I being overcharged? or this is justifiable? When I asked for fitting charges justification, counter said fitting charges is different for every accessory.

Honda just doubled the price of the H'ness CB350 Front Fender? ₹3,235 ➜ ₹6,416! Is this normal or are we getting ripped off? 🤯 #CB350 #HondaBigWing

was checking genuine accessories for my Honda CB350 RS on the Honda app today and noticed something that shocked me. Called the service centre they also said even they don't know why honda has increased this much price .

The Front Fender Kit (Part No. 08R70-K0Z-D30ZA), which was previously listed at around ₹3,235, is now showing an MRP of ₹6,416 (inclusive of taxes).

That's almost a 100% price increase.

With the monsoon here, many CB350 owners are looking to install the front fender to reduce mud and water splash. Seeing the price jump like this feels hard to justify.

If this is an actual price hike, it's disappointing considering this is a genuine accessory that many owners buy. Suggest me what to do? I don't want the after market mudguard they tend to break the original mudguard of cb350rs
