Hiya,
I have this mower and am trying to find the replacement blade - would it be this? Honda HRR216 Blade KIT, (1) 72531-VH7-000 Blade & (1) 72511-VL0-S00 Blade.
Also, the self propel is failing, it's not working very well. I am assuming it would need a clutch replacement. What would be the part I'll need to replace?

What's a good price for this?
A word of caution when looking for used Honda lawn mowers on Facebook Marketplace and even eBay. I've come across a few listings where the model/serial number tag on the mower deck is missing. Some sellers said they were aware of it, or it was missing when they acquired it. You can't for example determine if the mower is part of the camshaft recall without knowing the actual serial number.
he claims it has only used non-ethanol 88 fuel, new spark plug, new oem filter, good oil, and sharp dual blades.
there is a slight dent outwards in the deck, shouldnt affect mowing at all.
Is this a good deal for what it is?
Hello, recent lurker…bc I acquired this machine for $100 from a neighbor moving.
Completed new air filter, plug, oil change, fresh fuel, new Honda blades and cleanup. Did a first cut and everything works great.
Question - some fuel spilled and unbeknownst to me the following result is pictured. Is there a fix or is that permanently fubared?
I have been looking for weeks pretty religiously for an HRX, watching several YouTube videos on what to look for in used Honda’s. Seen several listing’s usually $350-$600 range. This was listed at $230 I talked him down to $200 because it didn’t have a bag. In person I noticed it needed cleaned up some and one back wheel had some left/right side wiggle. Starts on first pull and has strong pull from drive system.
Did I get a good deal?? I gave $190
Hello, just got a new HRN-BV, but my lawn is about a half acre and the battery does not last long enough. I saw backup batteries from Honda are $600, almost as much as the mower MSRP. Any off brand or cheaper alternatives to get a 2nd battery?

So after decades of reliable use, she was getting hard to start so I bought a HUZTL carb kit off Amazon for this model with the manual choke and installed that
After a lot of second-guessing on the placement of gaskets, I installed what I thought was right and upon the first pull, the motor started, fantastic. I put the mower away for the day, and I came back the next morning to find all the fuel had leaked out.
I let the things sit for a couple of days dry out, closed the tank valve put some fuel in it opened the valve and waited…nothing
I then started the mower and again started on the first pull… ran for 20 seconds, out of choke… great, shut it down
then I spotted the leak. the air filter was removed and I could see fuel collecting where the valve is(?). Meaning with the air filter off I can move the manual choke handle and see the valve move with the air filter removed and that is where I see fuel… that is the source
not the fuel tank shut off, not the fuel lines, not the bottom of the bowl

I was scrolling on marketplace and I found a Honda HR214 SX for 50$. I asked to pick it up the same day and I went to go check it out but it didn’t want to start because the recoil starter pulley got stuck. I bought it as is for 50 bucks with the owners manual. I went home and checked the oil and it was full. I took the old starter pulley off and put a rope on the starter and it started up first pull. The self propelled transmission also works great. I also ordered a new recoil starter pulley but I came on here to ask for advice. It’s my first time owning a Honda mower especially a self propelled one, any advice for a first time owner? I plan on using it to cut yards as a side hustle.
Hey was recently gifted this HRR216. Seems to run well, first I started off with an oil change, spark plug replacement, new air filter and sharpening the blades. But noticed a few issues:
\-The speed control is out of adjustment, the detent for fast is actually slow, slow will kill the engine, and it doesn't go far enough to engage the choke. Is this an adjustment or cable replacement?
\-Makes a clunk sound when engaging the self-propel and the right wheel slips anytime it gets traction. Maybe stripped gear?
\-Support plate (not sure what it's called) in picture 3 is rotted. Is this replaceable?
\-Finally the axle support looks like the bearing was pushed out and ground a groove completely through the support (last picture). Can I flip the support and install a new bearing or do I need to find a replacement?
I have mechanical knowledge but is this too far gone or normal items to repair?
Going through my grandparents belongings, have this push mower from my late poppy. It looks in mint condition. We’ve found heaps of spare parts to go with it (blades, spark plugs, filters) as well as a spare catcher & a brand new catcher. Also have the owners manual book for it

My model is the basic self-propelled unit that needs the handlebar with the holes/indentations for the Smart Drive lever. I noticed the push only version PKAA has the same parts list. Does anyone know the inside baseball on the differences between theses handlebar versions (and massive price differences)?
I bought this HRN216VKA from someone on marketplace for $120. I cleaned the carburetor and it now runs really well. I changed the oil as well. After sitting in the garage, I noticed that it leaks from underneath. I can’t tell exactly what it is leaking, but it seems to be coming from the transmission. Now that I look at the transmission further it looks like someone almost JB welded it somehow. I’m wondering if that’s the source of my leak as I can’t see anywhere else it could be coming from?
