How much should I negotiate for this 2002 Honda VTX 1800

Today I am invited by the owners to discuss the last price for this bike.

Sa first visit ko it's more on getting to know the owner and the history of the bike. It's imported from USA with complete BOC papers. May LTO registration na din pero expired na since it's last renewal in 2007.

Na tambay na siya for a year because of health reasons and old age ng owner.

Sa second visit ko I tried to test drive the unit pero may problema ata sa clutch kasi nag s-stall upon changing to 1st gear.

Today papa ayusin nila to a home service mechanic and I'll come over for a final negotiation. Any advice?

Heat coming through the seat.

I rode my 1800 with a stock seat on a 90 degree day and the heat coming through that seat was too much. Anyone have suggestions on how to manage that?

Now part of the club!

Just got my hands on this ‘04 VTX 1800. It’s been a few years without a bike due to life. My last one was a ‘04 Boulevard C50T, so this is a definite step up in power. It’s been a blast to ride so far, and I am so very happy to be back on two wheels!

Clutch safety delete?

Long story short I found a "mechanic" off Facebook and got a message 4 days later saying "sorry man. But I think your ICM is bad"

It started and ran before but I got the bike in a trade from an older gentleman who said it had some "electrical problems" as he tried to delete all the handle bar switches. I got most of it completely deleted as I wanted to continue the guys attempt as it seemed to be a nifty project.

When I got up there. The bike kills itself when going into gear. What wires do I need to connect to delete the clutch safety switch? Everything else works but this problem arouse. I can see a few splices and butt connectors. And I'm fairly ignorant on electrical as I am a plumber. I feel like now would be a good time to learn.

No wires are coming from the clutch perks now. So I have zero reference
