Hii! I stopped playing HSR after getting Phainon, so I have no idea what the current meta looks like anymore (┬┬﹏┬┬). I heard Aventurine is coming back, so I figured I should start preparing.

I only pull for husbandos, so I'm not really sure what the best teams are for the newer male characters (which I don't have). Could someone tell me? I don't mind using F2P female characters if they're needed.

I also noticed that Exaltation Caelus is out now. Does any male-focused team actually want him?

I know Gilgamesh and the new Aventurine are both leaks, but does anyone have an idea of what their teams might look like?

I will NEVER let it go that Hoyo had a badass mech sided with a man named "Destiny's Slave", a part of an infamous group executing said slave's will, AND it turned out to be... Firefly.

Are you serious? The concept of Firefly is interesting don't get me wrong, but SAM had potential. Make use of the fucking mech. Genshin impact had the same issue with removing Pulonia and replacing him with Agalea's Garmentmaker from the discount section at Walmart. They're so focused on sales and money its sickening how they let potential go to waste.

Speaking of which, Firefly in execution is so *bland*. Its a genuine low point in HSR storytelling. ​ They could have made the two separate characters because all the other Stellaron Hunters have long standing narrative presence, with development, and Firefly... I know some people say "That's the point. Fireflies only live for a short time before they fade away." Why can't we have both? Firefly could have been SAM's gestalt and with her death, SAM has free will and can pursue whatever he wants.

I'm upset, clearly.

Hey everyone! I'm new to Honkai: Star Rail. To be honest, I used to play Wuthering Waves, but I ended up dropping it because the male-to-female character ratio just wasn't doing it for me.

But then I tried HSR, and oh my god, the story hooked me from the very first minute. I literally couldn't pull myself away. I'm completely in love with the universe, but since I'm a total newbie, I'm still figuring out how the game works, who the meta characters are, and how to build teams.

Right now, I see Phainon is on the current banner, and I think I'll have enough pulls saved up by the time his banner ends. For those who know, is he worth pulling for a beginner? Would love to get some advice and tips. Happy to be part of the community!
