Heart Stealer

Aggression Level: 10/10 (Apex Predator / Immediate Hostility)

Height & Spawning: Stands at 6 to 8 blocks tall (6-8\text{ meters}). Spawns as a high-tier Boss Mob on surface biomes during thunderstorms or deep inside dark, high-ceilinged structures such as ruined cathedrals or ancient subterranean chambers.

Visual Design: A towering, pitch-black humanoid silhouette featuring a fully exposed, bone-white ribcage. A hyper-realistic, glowing red human heart pulses intensely within the center of its chest cavity, casting a dim red light on surrounding blocks. It possesses an elongated neck topped with a dark head, hollow eye sockets, a single dried bloodstain running down its cheek, and a wide-open jaw lined with needle-like teeth.

Behavior & Combat: Driven by an insatiable urge to harvest human hearts, it possesses a massive detection radius. Upon spotting a player, it charges relentlessly. Its physical height lets it step over low obstacles, while its elongated skeletal arms provide an extended melee reach that sweeps through player defenses. Upon death, it drops a rare Pulsing Heart used to craft health-boosting charms or dark-tier gear.

Twisted Spider

Aggression Level: 0/10 (Passive) \rightarrow 9/10 (Territorial Rage when provoked)

Height & Spawning: Occupies a 3\times3 block footprint. Spawns exclusively deep underground (Y < 0) within dark cavern networks, abandoned mineshafts, and narrow ravine crevices.

Visual Design: A colossal arachnid covered in deep crimson, glossy chitin plates with long, spindly, multi-jointed legs. Instead of a standard spider face, it features a melted, stretched human face permanently frozen in a wide, silent scream of agony.

Behavior & Combat: Completely passive by default, hanging silently from cave ceilings or walls while ignoring players who maintain a 3-block distance. If attacked, stepped on, or cornered, its aggression spikes instantly: it drops to the floor, shifts its eye illumination, and uses wall-climbing paired with high-speed lunges to overpower the target.

Happy Smile (Base Form)

Aggression Level: 1/10 (Passive Psychological Stalker)

Height & Spawning: Stands at 1.5 blocks tall. Spawns in low-light environments, unlit player builds, or directly behind the player during dark nights.

Visual Design: A stocky, pitch-black shadow entity with its head resting at an unnatural, broken angle. Its face displays dark, empty eye sockets and an unnaturally wide, stretched grin filled with stark, clean white human teeth that pop against its void-like body.

Behavior: It does not deal direct damage initially; it follows the player silently, freezing whenever the player turns around to look at it. To keep it passive, the player must maintain direct line of sight while holding a "Smile" active (via a dedicated keybind or wearing a specific helmet item).

Elderly Happy Smile (Enraged Form)

Aggression Level: 10/10 (Uncontrollable Frenzy)

Height & Transformation: Triggers dynamically when the player breaks the smile condition, turns away, or strikes its base form. Its model violently contorts and stretches upward to 7 meters (7 blocks tall).

Visual Design: A gaunt, slouched shadow monster with long, needle-thin legs and extended arms ending in sharp claws. Its neatly-aligned smile collapses completely: its lower jaw unhinges downward into a deep, pointed, gaping void lined with small, jagged teeth on the upper ridge.

Behavior & Combat: All stalking stops and pure aggression takes over. Moving at terrifying speeds, it uses its 7-block reach to sweep wide areas, inflicting an immediate area-of-effect debuff (Blindness and severe Slowness) while hunting the player down regardless of light levels.

What are your horror mod pet peeves?

I'm working on my own horror mod right now (though it will likely not come out any time soon, if ever) but I just felt like asking.

What do you hate to see in a horror mod?

What do you love to see?

and what you you wish there was more of out there?

Rly just anything, I would love to hear peoples opinion on what they think would be good and what ruins the fun for them.

Wonderland.jar anomaly

I'm confused as to what this anomaly is on the Wonderland wiki; the image is there, but the information isn't found. I tried searching it up, but Google won't give me answers. It's this slim, long thing that's pitch black; it behaves like an enderman. If anyone could identify it, it would be a huge help. Thank you!

Attached is a photo I managed to take before it disappeared

ANY GOOD HORROR MOD AT ALL?

I dont know but my experience with the horror mods were just boring. Theyre just dweller slop, used to make clipfarms. Or just straight up unfair, unkillable stuff. You know theres a few good ones like Broken script but ARG stuff isnt that unique anymore.

Is there actually a good horror mod?

I used to love this little guy

Does anyone actually know Bendythedemon18 version of Cartoon cat, I really love how he stretches his body although he isn’t very scary for a horror mod

Hey uhh, can somebody make a Stalker model in Blockbench please? I’m tired of looking at his Gary’s mod looking ass.

(I am being completely genuine btw)

What just happened

I was playing wonderland.jar and then this happened, can anyone tell me what caused this and what the entity on the third screenshot is that also spawned while this happened cause I'm curious if that's a new entity? It looks like ethereal demon but a bit different

What could possibly make this worse?

Spider mothers that carry their young on their backs! That makes it SO much worse

Does anyone know what's being said by Carrier [Wonderland.jar]

Carrier's idle and aggro sounds have English speech, but aside from a few things like 'Please help me' or 'Let me out', I can't understand what he is saying. Does anyone know the answer?

Smiler Entity

I'm making a datapack that adds the Backrooms, and this is the "Smiler" entity.

To avoid it, you need to crouch-walk; if you run or walk normally near it, it will start chasing you.
