A third-grade teacher promised her class hot chocolate if she made this shot
34 and never had hot chocolate...
What's a good recommendation? Should I get one of those swiss miss mixes from the store? Should I order from a certain place? I'm feeling some fomo but don't want to end up disappointed.
Where can you buy the best hot chocolate?
reddit.comLooking for ready mix suggestions
Hi there!
Almost 20 years ago I was blown away by Max Brenner‘s hot chocolate when I visited Melbourne on a student exchange program. Today I stumbled over a tin that I brought home to Europe and I wondered, what everybody‘s favourite suggestions are for hot milk chocolates. As I am still based in Europe, I would prefer local options, but if it ships, I‘m interested. As far as Max Brenner goes, they seem to have pivoted away in the meantime and severely cut their hot chocolate offerings (apart from not shipping to Europe). I know of Zotter (and I love their white jot chocolate), but I‘m looking for an elegant milk chocolate version — iirc the one that I liked best from Max Brenner was Guatemalan; but I could be mistaken, as it‘s been a while…
TIA!

So my boyfriend of 4years (description for those imaginative book readers- hazel eyed 5’11, cute smile, lashes denser than mine :” lean fit, authoritative but very welcoming presence) took me out for dinner and bought me this warrrm cup of decadent hot chocolate and fed me until I was full. I miss him already.
Chocolate keeps going bitty/separating help?
I am aware that the middle of summer is an odd time to be making hot chocolate however my partner is ill and craves it plus it’s a really good way to get him to drink honey which helps when ill. One problem and I’ve tried to solve this over winter but never could.
The way I make hot chocolate I add milk and chocolate to a pan and slowly heat it up while stirring to melt the chocolate but I always get bits that float to the top and don’t seem to melt in they leave a weird bitty chocolate slurry almost and I want to figure out what I’m doing wrong and why this is happening. I usually use dark baking chocolate either a bar or chips and skimmed or semi skimmed long life milk.
Any advice on what I’m doing wrong
