Ravella in black silk: I think I get the hype on this one. Much more flattering than the pink one on me, I think. Not sure why Nordstrom has it priced at $449, though. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lauren in black, kind of love this one, too. Can’t really decide which one I like more, this or the Ravella.

Luciana silk top. Very pretty, an easy wear.

Selena mini: pretty disappointing. The cups didn’t really fit, unflattering.

Elisabetta top, also a bit disappointing considering how much I love the dress in black.

i have a masquerade coming up in december and it’s the perfect semi formal dress for the occasion but i’m torn between getting a small or a medium. i wear small or medium (5’3, 130lbs) and i have a 32d / 34c cup. i found the dress for a really good price but its a size small so i’m tempted to just send it!!

I ordered the peach Dahlia off Poshmark to wear to a wedding. I ordered a small based on House of CB’s size chart, but my husband and I were barely able to zip it over my chest 🫠. I took it to a local alterations lady and she added a triangle panel of fabric (second pic) to each side of the bodice to give me extra room and it fits like a glove now. It’s kind of crazy how off their size chart is because my measurements fit well within their small range.

Paid £120 for a skirt that was advertised as being 100% cotton just for it to arrive and say on the label it’s 100% polyester. I purchased it from Selfridges though it also says 100% cotton on the official website. I can’t even return it because I’ve worn it once because I needed to wear it asap for a night out lol.

I just don’t get the false advertising and would never ever even have thought about purchasing polyester. I always look at composition before price. Has this happened to anybody else? Maybe they got the label wrong?

I didn’t realise that I didn’t upload the full label. The lining is as described however the main body is not. It’s a shame as I love the brand so I have no idea how this happened.

Hi, I bought the Babydoll Black Velvet Halter Mini Dress second hand.

I got it in a size XS and I can zip it up easily. It is comfortable when I'm standing. However, I cannot raise my arms without it pulling quite a lot around my armpit and upper arms.

Do you think this is a sizing issue and I should get a size S, or is this normal with this kind of dress?

I was looking for a white dress to use for an engagement shoot and loved this new one they had (oceana?) itms not quite white in color tho.

I also liked the second one and that one’s white. What do you think?

Not my favorite drop but there are a few worth looking at. These are all size XS.

The Coco in pink is very pretty, might like the green more on me but I brought her home anyway. I love the fit and the lace details.

The Marceline was so disappointing, the top is adorable as is the skirt, but the ruching on the waist absolutely ruined it. By the way this is the exact same shade green as the Coco I already have. The sleeves on the Marceline can be worn loose or gathered, and the cups are so cute. Not a fan of the chiffon.

The Elisabetta mini in black is lovely, she came home with me as well. Might go back to try the top in white.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the Nyra to begin with, something about the proportions felt off, even less of a fan on me, this dress is made for someone taller.

The Raye and Ravella were pretty but not the most striking to me.

Didn’t bother trying on the Amina as she is always wayyyy too long for me. Hoping Nordstrom gets the Selena and Sophine in for me to try on next. Let me know what you think!

So I bought the Luciana blouse and Odessa satin midi after thinking about it for some time. I originally bought the Luciana in a size S and had to exchange it for a M. For reference, I have a wide ribcage and short torso. Unfortunately the blouse won’t ever lay smoothly for that reason, no matter the size. Despite that, I still think it’s gorgeous and I’m choosing to keep it.

I’m also glad I also got the Odessa in M. It just fits my hips with little wiggle room.

My measurements are 32.5” bust - 28.5” waist - 41” hips

I’m wearing the Odessa without shape-wear (don’t mind the quick try on photos! 🫣)

I’m torn between these 2 dresses because they are different sizes and I don’t know what size would work best. I’ve tried the illiana dress in a s and it fit but could also have been tighter. (A side zipper tho)

The ysabella dress is a M and the Chloe white is a S

My sizes fit in the small range but I’m worried a s won’t fit.
